JOB ACCOUNTABILITIES / KEY RESULT AREA
Channel Strategy Development & Execution:
- Assist in the development of Open Channel strategy, aligning with overall sales objectives and market growth goals.
- Identify and assess new business opportunities within existing and potential channel partners.
- Develop and optimize the channel framework to improve sales, profitability, and customer acquisition.
- Develop and implement plans for expanding the presence through various channel partners.
Partner Relationship Management:
- Build and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with key channel partners (e.g., dealers, modern trade and distributors).
- Act as the main point of contact for channel partners to address inquiries, resolve issues, and provide ongoing support.
- Coordinate regular sales pitch communication, ensuring partners are updated on new products, services, and promotions.
- Conduct training and educational sessions for partners to ensure they are equipped to sell and support Hotlink products and services effectively.
Sales Performance & Target Management:
- Work with channel partners to set sales goals, monitor performance, and track KPIs (Key Performance Indicators).
- Analyze sales data to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement.
- Provide guidance and recommendations to partners to help them achieve sales targets.
- Collaborate with the sales team to ensure proper alignment between channel sales efforts and direct sales initiatives.
Marketing & Promotional Support:
- Collaborate with the GTM and Marketing team to develop co-branded campaigns, promotions, and materials to drive Open Channel sales.
- Provide partners with marketing resources, product information, and sales collateral.
- Monitor and report on the effectiveness of promotional activities within the channel.
Channel Performance Monitoring:
- Monitor the performance of channel partners using metrics like sales volume, revenue growth, customer satisfaction, and market share.
- Conduct regular reviews and audits of partners to ensure compliance with company standards, policies, and procedures.
- Identify underperforming partners and work on corrective actions or strategies to improve performance.
Product Knowledge & Training:
- Stay up-to-date on the latest products, technologies, and services in the telecommunications industry
- Provide ongoing product training and support to channel partners to enhance their ability to sell and support the company's offerings.
Market Intelligence & Reporting:
- Gather market intelligence and competitor information to identify opportunities for channel growth.
- Prepare regular reports and presentations for senior management on channel performance, trends, and areas of improvement.
- Provide recommendations for improving channel strategy and identifying new business development opportunities.
