Job Description

The P2P Associate Specialist, reporting to the P2P Manager, will handle purchase requisitions, purchase orders, Accounts Payable, and Travel & Expense claims for one or more SEEK Asia countries. This role allows you to identify and implement improvements in our work processes.

Additionally, SEEK Asia is starting the implementation of a new ERP (Workday Financials) and new Procurement and Travel & Expenses systems to replace our old ones. The P2P team will support these important projects.

This role is a fixed-term contract of 6 months, tailored to provide coverage during an employee's leave for parenting responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities

Work with the mentorship of the P2P Manager and Senior Specialists to:

  • Build and oversee purchase requisitions and orders.
  • Accurately log valid supplier invoices and credit notes in financial records.
  • Handle employee travel and expense claims per the T&E policy.
  • Keep all documentation in a single, easily retrievable source for audits.
  • Process supplier and employee payments accurately and timely.
  • Resolve vendor and employee queries within specific SLAs.
  • Maintain open communication and detailed records of vendor interactions.
  • Ensure compliance with SEEK policies.
  • Promote and support continuous improvement initiatives in the P2P team.
  • Assist or lead the implementation of key operational projects.

Qualifications

Crucial Skills, Experience and Competencies

  • Ideally, 1 to 2 years of experience in a similar position, but new graduates are encouraged to apply.
  • Recognizes and values the need for change, with a passion for contributing to change initiatives.
  • Understands SEEK Asia's business environment and aligns with its goals.
  • Capable of building and maintaining effective, collaborative relationships with various stakeholders across Finance and the broader organization.
  • Communicates clearly and accurately with diverse audiences, including non-Finance.
  • Possesses strong problem-solving skills and remains calm under pressure.
  • Can work under tight deadlines.
  • Comfortable with uncertainty and ambiguity.
  • Excellent written and verbal English skills are essential.

Desirable Skills, Experience and Competencies

  • Degree in Accounting, Finance or similar qualifications
  • Professional accounting qualification such as ACCA or equivalent
  • Experience with Coupa, Concur, Workday Financials and Microsoft Great Plains
  • Thai and/or Bahasa Indonesia language capability
