Job Description: 

The Signal Integrity team has an Intern open position to work in the field of platform signal integrity.

In this position, you will be working with a highly motivated team of hardware and software engineers located in several sites to help develop scripts, methodologies, etc. You will also help with this to develop the platform interconnect design guidelines for state-of-the-art server platforms, which support the latest generations of Intel processors.

Qualifications:

You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates.

Minimum qualifications:

  • Candidate must be currently pursuing a Bachelor's, Master's, or PhD degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics, or related STEM field (at least 1 year remaining as active student).
  • 3+ months of experience in scripting, or programming.
  • Intermediate to advanced English level.
  • Must have unrestricted - permanent right to work in Mexico.

Preferred qualifications,

  • Transmission lines theory knowledge.
  • Electrical Circuits knowledge.
  • Familiarity with fundamentals concepts in Electromagnetism (modeling).
  • Programming of MATLAB, scripting for analysis, and post-processing of data.
  • Experience with electrical circuits and full-wave electromagnetic simulation tools.
A candidate who accepts an offer of employment in Mexico is required to present their own personal identification information and numbers for the following: Mexican Security Number (NSS), Tax Identification Number (RFC) and CURP identification number.
