Nasdaq is hiring an Operations Associate for our Global Connectivity Services team. In joining this team, you will be responsible for employing data-driven methodologies to improve processes in the daily functions of the infrastructure behind Nasdaq’s markets. This role is crucial to helping Nasdaq optimize the way we connect with clients.

As an Operations Associate you’ll have an incredible opportunity to make an immediate and direct impact through measurable improvements to Nasdaq market infrastructure.  This role will drive significant enhancements to data center processes along with facilitating daily operations critical to client success.  By working across multiple cross-functional business units, you will be exposed to all areas of the business to help progress team initiatives.  This role will require someone with organizational skills who can multi-task and effectively communicate team objectives.

Responsibilities

Maintain relationship and workflow with data center vendor as a liaison between teams.

On-board Nasdaq colocation clients

Generate feasibility reports for pre-sales of space and power within the data center.

Oversee order progression once clients submit requests and coordinate with teams to ensure the timely progression of client orders.

Proactively address issues that may arise to ensure orders are completed in a timely manner.

Respond to client inquiries regarding order status.

Collaborate closely with the on-site teams.

Continuously and proactively enhancing operations and workflow.

Experience

You possess a college or a technical degree.

Proficiency in data analytics including statistics, data visualization, and working with large datasets.

Extensive knowledge of Excel and other Microsoft office products.

Familiarity with data center and networking operations is a plus.

Experience in client order coordination or similar roles, preferably within the IT or technology industry.

Profile

Detail-oriented mindset with a focus on accuracy and efficiency.

Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to changing priorities.

Proficiency in using company portals and related software for order tracking and management.

Excellent communication skills.

Organizational and time management skills.
