The Portfolio Management Team (integrated into the Private Banking Department) is looking for a Fund Hub Intern to support us with the arrival of a new Portfolio Management System. The Fund Hub operates internal or external funds activities for ING Group. 

We are looking for a trainee starting ASAP and for a period of 6 months full time.

Please note that only students who are officially enrolled in a school or university will be considered.

Mission  

As a “Fund Hub Intern”, your mission is to:  

  • Help the team on all daily tasks related to investment funds management such as custodian reconciliation process, cash management or trades settlements 

  • Support us to analyze and solve the potential differences 

  • Analyze and solve the daily potential data issues coming from several counterparties (depositary bank, ING FM NL, internal system…)  

  • Monitor the future cash position for the entire range of funds Aladdin and rebalance on demand the long or short cash sub-funds 

  • Maintain and enrich a strong Data Quality of traded instruments 

  • Perform and improve the monitoring and reporting process 

Your profile 

Knowledge and experience: 

  • Master in economics / finance or equivalent 

  • Practical experience of automation Project (especially in Excel VBA) 

Skills : 

Knowledge of: 

  • fund mechanisms and UCITS rules 

  • financial markets and products 

  • Excel proficiency (especially Visual Basic)  

  • Analytical capabilities and sound judgement 

  • Rigor and autonomy 

  • Personal skills: strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills

Languages : 

  • Fluency in French and strong level in English
