About the role

Nasdaq delivers market infrastructure products that span the complete securities transaction processing chain from trading via clearing and risk, to settlement and depository, and surveillance. A customer solution is comprised of one or more products, for example, trading and clearing products, that are combined to achieve business value for the specific customer.

This team is responsible for maintaining and operating an integrated test system solution that comprises of Nasdaq core products. The test system is deployed in the cloud.

Tailoring such a solution requires product-to-product integration, synchronization of shared reference data, orchestration of schedules, alignment of deployment and technical operations, and alignment of accessibility.

It is one of the critical pillars in how Nasdaq streamline multi-product deliveries by creating standardized integrations and workflows, supported by a common CI/CD pipeline, to ensure we test cross-product workflows in conjunction with new product releases.

Team is responsible for ensuring that the business integration flows are continuously and automatically verified.

What you will do

  • Conduct a range of quality control tests and analyses confirm that software meets or exceeds specified standards, development specifications or client requirements.
  • Create test data files with valid and invalid records to thoroughly test program logic and verify system flow.
  • Collaborate with internal or external team members to plan different forms of applicable test phases, to ensure that they are successfully completed and documented and there is a plan for problem resolution.
  • When specializing in QA, develop and maintain the quality of products and processes, including standard procedures and methods.
  • Creates, executes and maintains tests according to test scripts and test plans.
  • Is required to test either front end or back end software components (or both) and apply industry best practice

What We Expect

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field or equivalent work experience in software development
  • Proven years of experience in the field
  • Proven ability to develop, maintain, and automate comprehensive integration tests that ensure outstanding product quality and reliability
  • Proficiency in Python for developing robust test frameworks and implementing automation solutions
  • Solid command of GitLab CI/CD to design, implement, and optimize continuous integration and delivery workflows
  • Demonstrated experience deploying, managing, and troubleshooting containerized applications in Kubernetes environments
  • Knowledge of Helm for efficiently packaging, installing, and maintaining Kubernetes applications
