Team and Role Overview:

The Customer Delivery team is scaling rapidly due to increased client wins and demands. We are seeking a Technical Consultant with relevant work experience in the regulatory reporting or at a financial software company. You will be part of a team of consultant which will be designing, implementing, and supporting the solution to the Client. You will act as a key player in the successful delivery of client’s solutions.

Typical Technical Analyst Day:

Follow up on pending items (Jira).
Meetings with clients (Leading discussions, gathering requirements, consulting and advisory, support, demonstration, training …).
Design/Implementation of the solution in AxiomSL Controller View: Configuration and customization (data loading, data transformation, data mapping, generating and testing calculations and reporting templates).
People development: eLearning, documentation, presentations, certification, collaboration with reg team, product, QA, Support, Sales, Pre-Sales, RegCLoud.
Defining and improvement of best practices.

Responsibilities:

The technical consultant will then typically follow up with the users to test the implementation, achieve signoff, and continue to move the system toward go-live.
The technical consultant will be expected to work independently or lead a small team of AxiomSL consultants demonstrating business, technical and personal leadership, as well as light project management functions and serving as liaison between Client project and Customer Services Leads/Head.
The technical consultant will be expected to have a functional and technical background and to to learn AxiomSL Solutions and Data Dictionaries in order to demonstrate above to the client giving the right level of detail.
In-depth, hands-on involvement directly with customers implementing AxiomSL products.
Act as a point of contact between Customer Services and Research & Development,Regulatory Solutions, Support, Sales, Pre-Sales, RegCloud Teams.
Work directly with the customer project team implementing the system and assist them in implementing their users’ requirements.
Assist customers in providing answers to Data Dictionary and Calculations questions referring to the regulatory requirements.
Assist customers in understanding the API required to extend the system, add data to the system, and build interfaces between our and external systems.
Train users and customer developers on the basic use of AxiomSL Controller View system.
Assist customers with testing AxiomSL Solutions providing guidance on scenarios to be tested.
AxiomSL Solutions installation and upgrade in Controller View.
Work with the business analysts, to ensure Controller View system will meet business requirements.
Work hands-on with the Controller View system, configuring it and testing that it meets the customer’s technical and functional requirements.

Good understanding of client’s business and data structures.

Some relevant experience working in systems or technical analysis using Java and SQL, preferably in the regulatory reporting industry.
Being autonomous, proactive, and be able to self-train yourself with our eLearning platform.
Good level of self-management, time management and follow up on daily tasks.
Excellent object-oriented analysis, design & development skills.
Knowledge of relational databases and SQL including working experience with PostgreSQL and/or Oracle.
Experience designing/building reg reporting, risk management solutions (BASEL, Liquidity, COREP, FINREP, ESG, AnaCredit, TNT, GSD) will be especially valuable.
Expose yourself through your work to become a point of reference within the Customer Delivery Organization.
Good interpersonal skills. The person in this role will spend significant amounts of time working hands-on educating and training customers, and patience will be key to success.
Business-level English is required.
Willingness and ability to travel frequently (if needed).
