Korea and Japan Facility Engineering Supervisor
직무설명: 해당 포지션은 한국과 일본에 설치 된 컨베이어 시스템 장비를 포함한 시설물을 유지 관리하고, 신설 프로젝트를 수행합니다. UPS 내부적으로 “Building and Systems Engineering Supervisor” (시스템/시설물 관리자)로 업무를 수행하며, 하기 직무내용을 성공적으로 수행할 지원자를 찾고 있습니다.
Job Description: This position involves overseeing facility and conveyor system projects as well as maintenance duties for Korea and Japan. At UPS, this position title is "Building and Systems Engineering Supervisor". The successful candidate will:
Be responsible for Facility Engineering activities among KR & JP, with the support from JP Facility Engineering specialist.
Support the appropriation of project funds. Directly produce 2D AutoCAD layout drawings, assemble estimates, and create project schedules. Input, review and approve funding requests and Facility Engineering related supporting documents in UPS internal appropriation database.
Manage bidding and contracting of projects. Define project scope through direct production of 2D AutoCAD layout drawings, and editing of UPS specifications for use in both bid documents and contracts. Liaise with professional services companies (consultants). Write contracts.
Supervise on-site construction, LHI works, and Material Handling system installation. Ensure safe work, adherence to UPS specification and requirements, and completion of contracted scope. Drive effective use of resources, adherence to schedule, adherence to budget and process payments. Co-ordinates cross-functionally to ensure effective commissioning and deployment of new assets.
Be responsible for facility and equipment maintenance through the dispatch of vendors. Ensure work is done in safe and proper manner and contracted scope is completed.
Audit conveyor contractor preventative maintenance procedures to ensure quality work.
Audit Facility Safety to UPS standards and regulatory requirements. Correct deficiencies in order to ensure a safe work environment.
Audit Environmental compliance. Oversee deficiency correction.
Provide support through a combination of directly completing tasks, and/or reviewing and advising, and/or training UPS local country teams in order to execute tasks described above.
Supervision of 1 direct report Facility Engineering Specialist domiciled in Japan
Supervision of contractors who provide maintenance and repair services for facilities and equipment in Korea and Japan.
자격조건
Qualifications:
필수: 공학 학사 학위 (토목, 전기, 기계 또는 유사한 공대학사)Required: Bachelor Degree in Engineering (Civil, Electrical, Mechanical or similar)
Required: 2 years’ experience minimum, 4 years preferred in project management in construction or industrial installations OR maintenance management.
Required: Fluent in Korean and English. (Fluent in Japanese and/or Mandarin is an asset)
Required: 2D AutoCAD, MS Excel and MS Project
Ability to travel within Asia is required 25% of time
Excellent communication skills. Ability to work cross-culturally with staff in other countries.
Ability to multi-task. Analytical skills. Problem solving aptitude.
Experience with a formal Continuous Improvement Process system an asset.

Regular work from alternative UPS locations including ICN Hub (77-45 Gonghangdong-ro 295beon-gil, Jung-gu, Incheon) is required.
