Job Description:

Details of the Division and Team:

Trade and/or Transaction is responsible for providing operational expertise and independent governance to achieve timely, accurate and complete transaction management for the bank and, where relevant, the bank’s clients.

Work includes:

  • Providing the leadership team with technical, transactional and logistical input to ensure the bank operates with the right balance of quality, flexibility, control and cost management

  • Collaborating across businesses and divisions

  • Maximizing control and minimizing operational risk

  • Building and managing partnerships between internal stakeholders to ensure that the bank’s business objectives are delivered

  • Ensuring compliance with operational control and external regulation

  • Improving the bank’s technology platforms where necessary

Your key responsibilities:

  • Run daily settlement process and manage day to day operations within the team (KRX).

  • Perform control checks, balance sheet substantiation and reconciliation.

  • Daily cash management and SAP reconciliation

  • Ensuring all regional regulatory reports are completed in accordance with regulatory requirements and all reporting polices are adhered and attested.

  • Provide client services and respond to inquiries on a timely basis with good knowledge of Global Listed Derivatives systems architecture and markets (CME, CBOT, EUREX, SGX, HKEX, OSE, NSE and ASX)

  • OTC derivatives clearing experience preferred.

  • Coordinate and support Internal /external Audit (regulatory bodies such as FSS/KRX/KOFIA etc) & handle audit related inquiries and issues from remediation to closure.

  • Be the Listed Derivatives Subject Matter Expert (SME) to respond and manage all email queries, and escalate issues to Management, Business, and respective compliance teams.

  • Diligently update Key Operating Procedures or Document for daily BAU activities.

  • Proactively drive change by calling out manual process flows and implement improvements and automation using transformation tools using low code / no code solutions i.e., Visual basics, Alteryx, Tableau.

Your skills and experience:

  • Minimum experience of 3-5 years of relevant business (Listed Derivatives, and Exchange or OTC clearing and settlement, with client service experience)

  • Knowledge in Listed Derivatives products, market practices and regulations in Korea

  • Good interpersonal skill

  • Ability to work under pressure, handle multiple priorities.

  • Excellent attention to detail

  • A well-motivated and enthusiastic team player

  • Proactive and results driven approach to ensure completion of all tasks and ultimately improvement of our clients’ DB experience.

  • Proficient in spoken and written English

  • Intermediate Excel skills (Macro level is an advantage)
