About the Role
The Marketing Strategy & Planning Manager plays a key role in supporting the CMO and wider marketing team by driving strategic focus, operational efficiency, and internal alignment. This role leads marketing planning cycles, manages performance reporting and budgets, contributes to brand strategy development, supports marketing events, conducts research, and ensures strong internal communication across the function. 1. Brand Strategy Development
Work with the CMO to develop an overall and holistic AIA Korea brand strategy.
Contribute to long-term brand strategy through market insights and cross-functional collaboration.
Ensure brand positioning and messaging are aligned across teams and campaigns.
2. Strategic Planning & Performance
Lead the annual marketing planning process, coordinating timelines, goal setting, and progress reviews.
Develop performance and regular AIA Korea reports with insights and recommendations for action.
Monitor key marketing KPIs and help identify areas for improvement.
3. Budget Management
Manage Marketing Division budget, including planning, monthly tracking, and reporting.
Work closely with Finance and marketing teams to ensure financial discipline and governance.
4. Marketing Research
Conduct market, competitor, and consumer research to inform strategy, planning, and positioning.
Analyse external trends and internal performance data to generate actionable insights to improve and plan future marketing initiatives.
5. Internal Engagement & Communications
Organize internal marketing workshops and townhalls to align teams on strategy and key initiatives.
Prepare communications and presentations on behalf of the CMO for internal audiences.
