Details of the Division and Team:
Relationship and Transaction Management (RTM) is the backbone of the Corporate bank.
The purpose of RTM is to harmonize the Coverage, Implementations and Service team in Corporate Bank to ensure that bank optimize revenue opportunity from existing and new client while providing the best possible solutions and customer services
Relationship Manager is responsible for developing and implementing the origination strategy and agenda for the groups/countries within their remit, in line with bank and/or Function's strategic objectives, ensuring adherence to bank policy and relevant legal/regulatory frameworks.

Your key responsibilities:
Work includes pitching ideas/solutions to the bank’s German mid cap clients and/or in complex structured transactions
Preparing relevant materials to pitch to new or German mid cap with the aim of winning the mandate for the bank
Ensuring smooth execution of transactions acting as relationship manager and first point of contact to service the relevant client base
Leveraging relationships built with internal stakeholders
Proactive engagement with clients to improve client intimacy, increase share of wallet
Coordinate and support deal origination as well as execution of transactions involving a variety of corporate clients
Coordinate and conduct due diligence processes and the negotiation of financing/transaction documentation
Manage internal approval processes including credit, regulatory, market risk etcetera
Structure, initiate and coordinate transactions across department, product groups and other stakeholders, manage dependencies and expectations and ensure flawless execution
Your skills and experience:
Educated to Bachelor’s degree level or equivalent qualification/relevant work experience
Experienced working across a variety of jurisdictions and products
Analytical aptitude including the ability to conduct due diligence and assessment of clients’ credit quality and asset analysis, reviewing complex financial models, as well as experience interpreting and negotiating transaction documents
Excellent communication and stakeholder handling skills, with experience of working with Syndicate, Sales, and external financial institutions to syndicate/sell down exposure
Understanding, and the ability to understand, macro market and industry trends
Numeracy (including accounting knowledge), accuracy and spreadsheet modelling experience
