Location: Phnom Penh, Cambodia

Responsibilities:

Manage the team to deliver the target/budget on delinquency, impairment and OPEX
Bring down the delinquency and impairment % and benchmark against the best in industry
Plan, communicate, execute and monitor various callings strategies for effectiveness and targeted settlement plans
Maximizing the productivity and effectiveness of technology and collectors, to meet management goals.
Drive the department’s business development initiatives and implementing cost management activities
Consistently review on improving the internal process
Explore alternatives for cost saving and initiatives
Analyze and conduct Portfolio analysis when required
Review loan collection & recovery process, SOPs, and policies;
Liaise with lawyers and State Authorities to liquidate the collateral according to Cambodian laws;
Manage customer’s complaints within TAT
Plan and execute system enhancement & digitization projects related to Collections
Ensure the team’s strict adherence to all internal policies, procedures, NBC and BNM guidelines
Carry out any others duties as directed by the management from time to time

Job Requirements:

Education/Qualification

Graduate from University or College, probably in Finance and Banking, or Law

Requirement/Experience

At least 7 years of work experience in banking sector and/or law firm with at least 2 years in managerial role, having experience in loan recovery is a plus
Solid understanding of loan recovery and litigation process
Ability to work independently, work under pressure, and display effective leadership skills
Strong analytical skills and process management skills
Strong problem-solving and negotiation skills
Remarkable skills in dealing with difficult people and handling stressed situations effectively
High proficiency in English and Khmer language
Knowledge with Microsoft Office Suite, with advanced Excel skills
