Details of the Division and Team:

Deutsche Bank is a leading global financial services firm providing a wide has strong Global Rates business franchise in Japan and DB is one of the leading foreign dealers in the Japanese Government Bond market. You will sit within the Japan Core Rates Trading desk in Tokyo. The desk’s main activity comprises of market making of JGB, JPY swaps, options and other non-linear rates products.

You will be taking on trading responsibilities in the JGB trading desk. You will have direct contact with sales, promote the franchise, run positions and identify opportunities in JGB and repo products.

Your key responsibilities:

  • Oversee a trading book and generate revenues and manage risk for the respective business
  • Coordinate with Sales, Research, other organizations across Investment Bank to develop the trading franchise
  • Work in close partnership with infrastructure partners
  • Adhere to all policies and procedures as defined by your role

Your skills and experience:

  • 5 years of relevant experience in financial services
  • Strong understanding of Interest Rate Derivatives with advanced analytical and numerical competency
  • Good understanding of rates markets and macroeconomics in Japan
  • Ability to work in a team environment and self-manage priorities
  • Effective communication skills to interact with internal partners and clients
  • Role is required to be performed on-site at Japan DBG Office.
