Details of the Division and Team:
Operations is responsible for driving the planning and the day-to-day management of the business to align with the bank's mission and strategic goals. Operations set the direction and manage performance to bank targets with a focus on continual performance improvement. Work includes:
Identifying and prioritizing product and service improvement opportunities and creating plans for implementation
Utilising comprehensive knowledge of the company's internal operations to develop forward-looking focus for business
Supporting bank strategy, proactively identifying and managing areas of risk
Maintaining relationships with relevant internal and external stakeholders including regulators, market vendors and internal divisions
Communicating changes to operational requirements and their impact on relevant processes and controls

Your key responsibilities:
With a clear focus on responding to client inquiries and requests on a daily basis paired with a focus on the strategic development of the eCommerce team in the region.
Key responsibilities of the role are:
Service clients on a daily basis with respect to all inquiries and requests
On-going communication with Clients, Front Office and other departments to identify and implement efficiencies
Identifying areas for automation and support of strategic solutions for Operations, Front Office and IT
Understanding disruptive / digital market evolution and perform opportunity analysis and product development requirements as necessary
Drive and deliver initiatives to improve the team’s delivery processes and methods
Ensure any operational change is implemented with full understanding of risks & control.
Closely monitor progress of integration initiative through various approval steps (internal / external) as outlined in transition process.
Drive issue resolution or options articulation around any problems or challenges that crop up in the course of execution of above initiatives.
Process and provide ad-hoc support for requests from Clients and internal teams.
Provide oversight and manage support teams for outsourced processes
Your skills and experience:
Background and work experience in Operations is desirable.
Strong organizational skills and attention to details are required
A self –motivated, energetic and able to work independently
Confident, and enjoy working in a performance driven culture
Good interpersonal skills and a communication skills in both Japanese and English.
A demonstrated commitment to high professional ethical standards and a diverse workplace
Strong desire to learn the current operational flow and how to change the workflow for future in financial industry in transition phase
Excellent written and verbal communication skills ( Japanese and English)
