About the Role
In this opportunity as Senior Business Development Manager (Corporates), you will:
Sell software solution in Japan to a pre-defined territory of accounts market segment and white space.
Build on expert knowledge to target client base, recognize client needs and propose solution.
Generate new business opportunities by taking qualified leads from multiple sources including marketing, BDRs and self-identified leads.
Prospect and demonstrate Thomson Reuters’ capability to new customers, develop proposals, negotiate contracts and ultimately close new business
Collaborate with Client/Strategic Account Managers to deliver sales within existing accounts
Build competitor knowledge, maintain accurate customer contact and opportunity data in our CRM system, and conduct win/loss analysis plus maintain strong awareness of external market, to identify business opportunities.
About You
You're a fit for the role of Senior Business Development Manager, if your background includes:
Minimum of 5 years' experience in a professional field sales or IT Solutions/ SaaS business development role
Demonstrated understanding of the Japanese Corporate market
Demonstrated track record of success in meeting and exceeding sales targets
Commercial acumen and ability to identify opportunities in white space
Ability to partner effectively with the wider sales team and internal stakeholders
