What We Offer

We are seeking an energetic individual for an Account Manager position. This position will be responsible for managing client relationships with companies in Japan currently subscribed to Nasdaq Data Services. You will play a pivotal role in elevating customer relationships in a dynamic business environment. The position offers the opportunity to drive transformative data solutions for our clients. In the process, you will be part of a team driving revenue growth by working closely with the Sales Executive. We are open to candidates based in Tokyo and in Hong Kong.

What You Will Do

You will be part of Nasdaq’s APAC Data Sales team, and your primary responsibility will be managing client relationships in Japan by:

  • Demonstrating excellent client engagement skills, including the ability to build and maintain relationships with senior and C-suite executives
  • Managing the onboarding process of new customers, contract administration, re-contracting, billing and other items related to our data business
  • Working with other business unit stakeholders to ensure seamless client communications on data product changes and price adjustments
  • Maintaining accounts in Salesforce ensuring we have the correct billing contact details and subscribed data services
  • Reviewing low usage accounts and proactively communicating with our clients for timely usage-reporting
  • Supporting our co-marketing efforts with key clients by working closely with our in-house marketing team

What We Expect

  • Bachelor’s degree with 8-10 years of experience in related industry or equivalent experience handling a book of business with retention
  • Strong understanding of securities, brokerages, and wealth management industry
  • Excellent communication, planning, and research skills with great attention to detail
  • Ability to work individually and in a team environment
  • Work is performed in an open, team environment with extensive phone and computer use
  • Ability to manage systems including Salesforce and Microsoft Office
  • Fluency in English and Japanese
  • Willingness to travel for business
