Job Description:
DXC Technology is seeking a talented and motivated Penetration Tester to join our growing Security team. Conduct penetration tests and vulnerability assessments on web applications, networks, and infrastructure
Identify security weaknesses and vulnerabilities in client environments and provide detailed reports
Develop and execute testing plans to assess potential security risks
Collaborate with internal teams and clients to remediate security vulnerabilities and provide solutions
Stay up-to-date with the latest security threats, vulnerabilities, and technologies in the cybersecurity space
Assist in developing and enhancing security testing methodologies and tools
Requirements
Bachelor's or Master's degree in a STEM field (Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics)
Minimum 2 years of experience in penetration testing or a related security role
Solid understanding of cybersecurity principles, ethical hacking, and vulnerability assessment
Experience with penetration testing tools such as Metasploit, Burp Suite, Nmap, Wireshark, Kali Linux, Nessus, etc
Knowledge of security frameworks and best practices (e.g., OWASP, NIST)
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Excellent verbal and written communication skills in Italian
Preferred Qualifications
Certifications such as OSCP, CEH, or CISSP
Experience with scripting languages (e.g., Python, Bash) for automation purposes
Familiarity with cloud security and DevSecOps concepts
