JOB SUMMARY

  • This role is to develop and deploy the business requirements based on the solution(design) provided for Client Platform and support technology strategy, roadmap and execution. The role also requires additional skills around ADO Dev ops and containerisation. Responsible for technical delivery and technical excellence across the squads.
  • Should have the working experience of 5-8 Years with very good in communication, logical reasoning, problem solving, proactive in nature, positive interaction with stakeholders, etc.,
  • Participate in functional, design discussions for acquiring better understanding of the product and domain. Code the assigned module(s) based on the technical design and coding standards to deliver error free output and support SIT and UAT and all other phases with defects fixed & closed. 
  • Agile & Tribe model is the primary one to be followed, should adhere all the necessary processes and compliance strictly and documentation should be very clear where and when required.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Strategy

  • Deliver quality & error free code
  • Fixing the defects and resolving the problems with lesser turn around time
  • Understands domain and functions well enough
  • Leads the group and development discussions
  • Adapting project life cycle methodology of Agile & Tribe model processes  

Good knowledge of IDE, programming languages and toolset in language of choice. Excellent understanding of language & framework and a good working knowledge of the abstraction layer underneath. Candidates are expected to know the technologies listed below.

  • Java/J2EE, Spring, Spring Boot, Microservices, API & Hibernate
  • Cloud Solutions – OpenShift or AWS
  • Containers Management –Using tools like Docker
  • Configuration Management – Using tools like Ansible
  • Continuous Integration – Using tools like Maven and Jenkins
  • Continuous Deployment – Using tools like Jenkins, RunDeck
  • Assembly Development – Using frameworks like Apache Camel or Node.js
  • UI Development – Using frameworks like Node.js, REACT, AngularJS or Backbone
  • IDL Definition – Using tools like Swagger
  • Code Development – Using IDEs like Eclipse or IntelliJ
  • Web API’s – For Information Exchange
  • Collaboration – Using tools like Git-Hub and JIRA
  • Hands experience and Knowledge of microservices architecture
  • Strong in Oracle or SQL Server PL/SQL development and designing data model
  • Understanding of continuous build concept and usage with Maven, SonarQube or other related tools

Preferred competencies:

  • Web services, API design, Defining Specification using swagger/RAML.
  • Dev Ops Tools and CI/CD Processes –Git Flow, Bitbucket etc.
  • Knowledge in automated test configuration.

  • Study existing business functions of the application and develop the program as provided. Contribute to improvements to drive up efficiencies.
  • Analyze, remove, or mitigate dependencies across teams to enable speed and quality of delivery.
  • Would work as an Individual Contributor role

  • Mitigate development risks and issues, and ensure quality, affordability, and stick to delivery timelines.

  • Effectively and collaboratively identify, escalate, mitigate and resolve risk, conduct and compliance matters.

  • Embed Here for good and Group’s brand and values, Perform other responsibilities assigned under Group, Country, Business or Functional policies and procedures; Multiple functions (double hats)
  • To develop the functionalities based on the user stories based on the ensure the application follows catalyst principles and application is containerised and implement all Security controls.

Qualification

  • Qualification: Bachelor's or master’s degree or engineering
  • Experience: 5 to 8 Years
  • Skill: Software Development Life Cycle Skills
  • Preference: Skills Certifications
