The CCG-CCE (Client Customer Engineering) Type-C Subsystem is responsible to work directly with Intel's Type-C Subsystem (TCSS) OEMs/ODMs and make them successful in delivering best-in-class Type-C experience.As an Enablement and Debug Customer Engineer, you will collaborate with multinational team of professionals and have the opportunity to influence the future of Type-C technologies.As a part of this team you will closely collaborate with customer engineers, hardware design teams, architects, validation , development and/or customers over different geos to enable end-to-end Type-C features.Engineers will also be responsible to debug and troubleshoot Type-C customer issues during the enablement process.Your responsibilities may include:- Customer enablement of current and future Type-C PC platforms- Review schematics and layout of PC boards that includes Type-C Subsystem during customer development process- Debug of complex issues related to Type-C Subsystem prior launch- Support manufacturing inquiries coming from customers- Make sure that the customers can deliver the PC/Devices on time by leading task forces with cross-geo engineering/support groups
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in electrical engineering or Related- 3 years hands-on experience on customer enablement, debug or/and system validation.
- Experience in reviewing/developing board schematics and layout- Knowledge on USB/DP/Thunderbolt/PCIe/SoC level protocols .
- Experience in supporting technical issues/questions either from customers or peer customer engineers.
- Experience in identifying, triaging and debugging problems.
- Experience in providing technical training, consultation, and assistance in areas of architecture, technologies, SW and HW developments etc.
- Experience in working with remote teams.
- Self-disciplined and independent worker, but still team player.
- Willing to work extra-hours as necessary to support successful launches of Intel TCSS platforms that are under critical timelines.
- Excellent verbal and written English, good communication and presentation skills in front of technical audiences.
