Job Description: 

Datacenter Engineering Group (DPEA-SNV) is looking for talents for System Debugging Validation , you will work with various functional teams (BIOS, BMC, Silicon, OS, etc) to debug Intel hardware platforms, Firmware, software and technologies. You will have a chance to work on Windows, Linux OS, Virtualization and server hardware technologies and see how to apply those technologies in big cloud companies. Your responsibilities will include but not be limited to:- Deep dive and root cause silicon and system integration issues to sub system/source code level and drive sightings into closure by proactive debug work and/or coordination with relevant stakeholders on defect duplication and investigation.- Closely collaborate with Intel silicon, firmware development, and various components teams including storage, network, power and performance, I/O and silicon debug teams to troubleshoot and debug cross-discipline and complex integration issues on server platforms.- Define and drive the system debug process implementation and ingredient owner engagement/alignment.- Creates, defines and develops system validation environment and test suites. Responsible for the development of methodologies, execution of validation plans, and debug of failures.- Requires broad understanding of multiple system areas and requires interfaces with Architecture, Design, and Validation teams in improving post silicon test content.- Research, recommend, specify and document technology for server platforms in support of organization's strategic vision.- Responsible for translating business/customer requirements into platform/server architecture encompassing hardware, software, SoCs and other components designed to support a variety of systems, solutions and applications.- Design, develop, validate and analyze overall platform architecture and partitioning between hardware and software to meet use cases and workloads in terms of performance, scalability, manageability, reliability, and security requirements.- Leads architectural governance and decisions related to product technology and platform tradeoffs as part of a cross functional and validation architecture decision group. Provide technical direction for platform, SoC and component design and validation, debug activities.-Influences the shaping of future products/solutions by significantly contributing to the architecture and technology employed throughout the compute continuum. Provides multilayered technical expertise for next generation initiatives along with ability to debug and triage complex server issues.

Qualifications:

Platform validation andor debug experience Intel Architecture and Server Platform experienceExcellent programming skills (e.g. C) that enable the source code level fixing of issues. - Good experience at model-based problem solving that enable the effective investigation and narrow-down of complex issues and proper. - Understanding of Intel Server Architecture, Operating System, Driver, BIOS fundamentals, and FW fundamentals.Familiarity with debug tools eg ITP protocol analyzers exercisers andor Logic analyzers etcMust be willing to engage with external customers when needed.Experience with PythonStrong low level debugging skills that enable the root causing of issues at the firmware and hardware level and Operating System (OS) internals Linux kernel hands on development/test experienceKnowledge of Pre silicon or Post silicon Validation
