Job Description
As a Solution Specialist, you leverage your experience in proposal management to deliver against the following responsibilities:• Leverage prior experience to contribute to solution development in the opportunity lifecycle process and provide input/advice to internal stakeholders.• Support in the gathering of relevant sources of information and insights to scope and assess customer requirements, provide input regarding development of customer solutions.• Contribute to the development of proposals, relating to the value proposition for customer offers, while maintaining the protection of Telstra’s commercial interests and ensuring business plans continue to meet company goals.• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to participate in solution requirements, assist in new customer solution development and management.• Draw on knowledge gained via industry trends and competitive marketplace analysis to provide input into customer deals and support in the development of business strategies for revenue generation.• Engage with stakeholders to participate in or support in solution requirements, assist in new solution introduction, development and management.• Provide guidance on the effective use of technology and solutions in order to achieve business outcomes in alignment with customer requirements.
Basic Qualifications
Building and supporting functional and integrations to and from Workday and peripheral systems including robust testing of each
Should have experience in designing and developing EIB’s, Studio, xslt, DT, PECI
Conduct root cause analysis and guide us in implementing improvements and preventative measures
Participate in health checks on Workday integration landscape; providing recommendations to ensure optimal performance, improve accuracy and ensure we are maximizing our Workday investment
Assist and provide tier 3 support on HR production issues
Should have the ability to have design discussions with the stakeholders
Ability to code, write design / technical specifications, perform code reviews, understand integration strategies, perform data conversions, understand how HR interfaces with other modules

As a Solution Specialist, you ensure that our complex and simple solutions meet the needs of our Enterprise customers and ensure that Telstra is able to win in market. Workday Solution Specialist will be responsible for designing, implementing, and optimizing Workday solutions to align with business requirements. This role typically involves collaboration with HR, IT, and business stakeholders to ensure Workday is configured and integrated effectively.
Other Qualifications
Advanced understanding of the complete software implementation lifecycle
Participation in minimum of 3 full life cycle WD implementations
Advanced understanding of the complete software implementation lifecycle - including integrations requirements gathering, design, development, testing, and move to production
Experience leading an Integration workstream on a software implementation
Excellent creative thinking, an eagerness to overcome challenges and work independently towards success.
Ability to prioritize and handle multiple complex projects at the same time
Being agile and flexible while adapting to a changing environment
Passion in learning and mastering new technologies and technical skills
Team collaboration, and efficiency focus
Experience:
4+ years of experience with WD integration development, report building and data migration
6+ years of Human Resource, Payroll or Financials domain experience
