Job Summary

The Head of AI Services will be responsible for overseeing the development, implementation, and maintenance of AI technologies. This role will lead a team of AI engineers and data scientists, ensuring the standardization of AI applications, and establishing workflows and frameworks for AI deployment, testing and enablement. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in AI, machine learning, software engineering and design patterns along with strong leadership and project management skills.

Key Responsibilities

•    Leadership: Lead and mentor a team of AI engineers and software engineers, fostering a collaborative and innovative environment. Drive the development of AI solutions and workflows that align with the company's strategic goals. •    Standardized AI applications Onboarding: Develop and implement processes for the standardized onboarding of AI applications, ensuring consistency and efficiency across projects. Create and maintain a comprehensive toolkit for AI development, enabling efficient and standardized workflows for AI engineers. •    Data Science Workflow Standardization: Create and enforce standardized workflows for data science projects. •    Testing Framework: Oversee platform testing to ensure seamless end-user flows and high-quality user experiences. Design and maintain a comprehensive deployment testing framework to evaluate model serving, throughput, and performance. Also establish frameworks for model testing that focus on explainability, bias, ethics, and robustness, ensuring that models are reliable and fair. •    Identifying AI opportunities: Identify opportunities for AI-driven solutions that can improve business processes, enhance customer experiences, and contribute to revenue growth. •    AI Metrics and Observability: Define and monitor key AI metrics, establishing observability practices to track model performance and health in production environments.  •    AI design patterns: Develop and maintain AI patterns (predictive ML, statistical modelling, agentic workflows, LLMs, RAG-LLMS). •    Cross-Functional Collaboration and communication: Communicate complex AI concepts to non-technical stakeholders in a clear and concise manner.  

Skills and Experience

Minimum 15 years of experience in Technology Proven experience in a senior AI engineering role, with a track record of successfully leading AI teams and projects. Deep understanding of AI, machine learning, and data science principles, including supervised and unsupervised learning, neural networks, natural language processing, and computer vision. Experience with standardized model onboarding, deployment, and testing frameworks. Experience with AI frameworks and libraries such as TensorFlow, Keras, PyTorch, or scikit-learn. Proficiency in AI metrics, observability, and model optimization techniques. Excellent project management and organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks simultaneously. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams. Passion for innovation and staying updated with the latest advancements in AI technology. Hands on with AI platform Development    Expert Hands on with ML framework, best practices and ops implementation    Expert Hands-on experience with GPU computing and optimization for AI workloads    Expert Experience with design and implementation of robust data integration pipelines    Expert Programming languages such as Python, Java, or C++.    Advanced

Qualifications

Master's or Ph.D. in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, or a related field.
