Job Title: Business Management Specialist - Tech COO

Location: Pune, India

Corporate Title: AVP

Role Description

The India Tech Centre is indeed the largest Tech Centre within TDI, with over 8000 employees. The COO team at the India Tech Centre is responsible for handling day-to-day topics the Tech Centre. The role reporting to the COO of the Global Tech Centre involves several key responsibilities:

  • Grads and intern hiring activity: This includes managing the hiring process for graduates and interns3.
  • MIS reporting: This involves generating and managing Management Information System reports4.
  • Seating capacity: Tracking and managing the seating capacity within the Tech Centre4.
  • Tracking adherence to Future of Work trends: Ensuring that the Tech Centre adheres to the latest trends in the Future of Work4.
  • IT asset management: Managing IT assets within the Tech Centre4.
  • Driving initiatives like internal job fair: Organizing and managing internal job fairs.

Additionally, the team manages several strategic initiatives such as:

  • Bank on Tech5
  • Innovation word cup5
  • Hackathon5

The role requires a team player who can go above and beyond and contribute to wider team activities.

Your key responsibilities

  • Work with the HR-TA to implement processes of Grad and interns’ recruitment across agreed campuses
  • Work with Technology leadership to build the graduate curriculum
  • Be responsible and coordinate with various stakeholders, vendors, internal and external trainers, AV equipment, event managers, internal team members for validate and approve training material, course outline, training content, and course assessment prior to training roll-out
  • Maintain graduate project rotations
  • Provide on ground support, liaise and coordinate internal and external vendors to deliver
  • Conduct the internal job fair to encourage internal mobility
  • Monthly headcount dashboard reporting for India Tech Centre
  • Tracking and allocation of seats for TDI-1 division
  • Tracking and Managing Future Of Work trends
  • Conducting quarterly business review with head of Tech Centre
  • Ensure all new joiners get the desired asset on day one by proper forecasting of demand
  • Provide support as team player for India Tech Centre activities like trainings, Bank on tech, hackathons, innovation world cup, senior management visit, townhalls etc.

Your skills and experience

  • Minimum 10 years of experience in program management, customer service, vendor management, stakeholder management
  • Leadership skills to lead through uncertainty
  • Build global networks, ability to work as individual contributor
  • Be self-motivated
  • Be comfortable with Technology
  • Good communication skills
  • Ability to manage time effectively, prioritize responsibilities, and escalate issues as necessary.
