Description -

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Project Manager to lead complex and large-scale projects within our organization.  This role requires a LSS black belt strategic thinker with a deep understanding of project management methodologies.

As a Senior Project Manager, you will be responsible for driving project success by managing all project phases, from initiation to completion, while ensuring that all processes align with organizational goals and PMO frameworks. You will collaborate with various teams, stakeholders, and leadership to deliver projects on time, within scope, and on budget. You will also ensure effective documentation management and project tracking.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Project Leadership & Management:
    • Lead cross-functional teams in the successful delivery of complex projects, ensuring alignment with project goals, timelines, and budgets.
    • Develop comprehensive project plans, defining scope, deliverables, timelines, and resource requirements.
    • Act as the primary point of contact for stakeholders, managing expectations and providing regular updates on project status.
    • Ensure all projects comply with PMO methodologies, standards, and governance processes.
    • Identify project risks and issues, developing mitigation plans to address potential challenges.
  • PMO & Process Adherence:
    • Champion the adoption of PMO processes, tools, and best practices across the organization.
    • Work closely with the PMO leadership to enhance project delivery frameworks and ensure consistent project execution.
  • Project Documentation Management:
    • Maintain project documentation, including project charters, plans, timelines, meeting minutes, and status reports.
    • Ensure that all project-related information is effectively organized, stored, and accessible to all relevant stakeholders.
    • Implement document version control and ensure that all project documents adhere to organization-specific naming conventions and storage protocols.
  • Stakeholder & Team Collaboration:
    • Foster strong relationships with key stakeholders across business units, IT, and senior leadership to ensure project alignment and resource availability.
    • Collaborate with functional teams, business analysts, and technical leads to deliver projects with clear expectations and outcomes.
    • Lead and mentor junior project managers, providing guidance and sharing knowledge to enhance team capabilities.
  • Continuous Improvement:
    • Continuously evaluate project management processes and tools to identify opportunities for improvements.
    • Stay current with industry trends and best practices, ensuring that the organization’s project management strategies are cutting-edge.
    • Lead and deliver strategies that seek to eliminate inefficiencies in PDM related process flows by applying Lean Six Sigma methodologies​
    • Audit and validate data to ensure completeness, timeliness, consistency, and accuracy​
    • Automate repetitive data management tasks to reduce human error and free up time​
    • Create and redesign process documentation

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Project Management, or related field. PMP (Project Management Professional) or similar certification required.
  • 7+ years of project management experience, with a proven track record of successfully managing large and complex projects.
  • Strong experience in PMO frameworks, methodologies, and governance (e.g., Agile, Waterfall, Hybrid).
  • LSS black belt certification
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to clearly present project information to stakeholders at all levels.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Experience with project management software (e.g., MS Project, Jira, Asana) and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment while maintaining attention to detail and quality.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience in a leadership or mentor role, guiding junior project managers or cross-functional teams.
  • Familiarity with business intelligence tools or advanced reporting tools (e.g., Power BI) to generate project insights and KPIs.
  • Experience working in industries such as IT, healthcare, finance, or similar
