Security and Resilience Team Lead

Job Purpose/Role

Security & Resilience is the core team and central driver for Information Security and Resilience at Allianz Technology. The division is tasked to continue evolving a strong security and resilience organization, establishing global resilience through security solutions and countermeasures, and to oversee the effectiveness and guide the implementation of security controls.

As part of the Corporate Information Security Team, the IS Center of Competence in India provides governance and assurance capabilities for the global IS team. The Team Lead IS Center of Competence India will play a key role in leading and developing the IS Center of Competence. He/she will coordinate teams in Pune and Trivandrum, lead the development and evolution of IS capabilities, and play a crucial role in ensuring the effective implementation of Information Security requirements across Allianz Technology's global operations and service offerings.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee the local team’s activities, including all aspects of people management, and liaise with the central Corporate Information Security team;
• Serve as central contact person for information security-related matters in the service provisioning, including interfaces to business, partners, customers and other safeguarding functions;
• Promote knowledge and awareness of Allianz Technology security requirements and processes;
• Provide expert information security consulting and maintain effective communication with all relevant stakeholders;
• Ensure the effective implementation of Information Security principles and procedures throughout the life cycle of services offered by Allianz Technology, including those provided by external parties (e.g. Cloud providers) and outsourcing partners;
• Lead IS assurance activities on IT services and systematically assess the effectiveness of security controls in all services provided by Allianz Technology and its partners and third-party providers;
• Oversee the implementation of and compliance with Group-wide standards, regulatory requirements and industry security standards in all Allianz Technology services and in projects;
• Develop security policies, guidelines and procedures;
• Manage security risks, support the lifecycle of security risk assessments, address deviations from security policies and contractual provisions, and formulate strategies to mitigate identified information security risks;

Key Requirements/Skills/Experience

• University degree in computer science, natural sciences, or equivalent professional experience;
• Extensive experience in IT, 5 years+ experience in Information Security related fields and/and or risk management;
• Proven track record in people management and/or project management in complex enterprise environments;
• Sound knowledge of IT security technology, architecture and processes, along with expertise in information security management systems, control frameworks and relevant industry standards (particularly ISO270xx, COBIT5/2019);
• Demonstrated experience in developing information security policies and procedures;

• Experience in supplier management, including Cloud providers and IT outsourcing, with a track record of defining and monitoring contractual information security provisions;
• Ability to cope with high workload, and being able to exercise high levels of independence, judgment and initiative;
• Proficient in English, excellent international communication skills including the ability to prepareprofessional documentation for various audiences and senior management.
