The Senior Engineer develops application code, implements technical solutions, configures applications in different environments, in response to business problems and in accordance with provided requirements and agreed design principles.

Your key responsibilities

• Engineer is responsible for managing or performing work across multiple areas of the bank's overall IT Platform/Infrastructure including analysis, development, and administration. It may also involve taking functional oversight of engineering delivery for specific departments.
• Planning and developing entire engineering solutions to accomplish business goals Building reliability and resiliency into solutions with appropriate testing and reviewing throughout the delivery lifecycle
• Ensuring maintainability and reusability of engineering solutions
• Ensuring solutions are well architected and can be integrated successfully into the end-to-end business process flow
• Reviewing engineering plans and quality to drive re-use and improve engineering capability
• Participating in industry forums to drive adoption of innovative technologies, tools and solutions in the Bank.
• Defining and implementing web application solutions using Microsoft technologies like .Net, ASP.Net, ASP.Net, C#.net, VB, VB.net, SQL indepth knowledge
• Working with application team to support Analysis, development, and enhancement of existing/new applications.
• Following clean coding practices and adapting to new technologies as per business requirements.
• Willing to learn and work on modern skills like GCP migration, devops practices, microservices etc.

Your skills and experience

• 8-12 years of experience developing/maintaining web-based applications.
• C# 10.0, VB, VB.net, LINQ, REST API, Web service, XML, WCF
• Good Experience on Microsoft technology stack.Net Framework, ASP.Net (ASPX), ASP.Net MVC, ASP.Net MVC Core, Windows Service
• Design Patterns and SOLID
• Tool: IIS, Fiddler, SOAP UI, REST API, Beyond Compare
• Strong Written and Verbal skills in English..
• Familiar with Windows Server Operating System
• Familiar with Windows Services
• Installing, upgrading, and configuring vendor software (server and client)
• Databases Experience (SQL, DDL, DML, etc) – SQL Server
• Exposure to Sparx will be Nice to Have.
• Exposure to working with cloud services (GCP) is Nice to have
• General Network understanding (IP addresses, ports, use of firewalls and rules)
• Trouble shooting user issues.
• Working with Vendor Support
• Documenting processes

Education/Certification

• A Bachelor's or master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or other related discipline is required; or equivalent combination of education and relevant proven work experience that is required for the specific job level.
