Nasdaq Technology is looking for a passionate DevOps engineering specialist with focus on Devops engineering, to join the Bangalore technology center in India. With this position we offer :Join the NGS platform support organization for Nasdaq Boardvantage. The main objective for the team in Bangalore is to help Boards and Leadership products migration to cloud by building azure environments using terraform and setting up CI/CD pipelines. As our new member, you will be part of platform support team, which is COE for Architecture, Devops, QA Automation and performance engineering. You will be responsible for providing DevOps capabilities for various product we have under NGS .

Your role and responsibilities:

As a DevOps engineering specialist, your focus will be setting up CI/CD pipelines and Azure environments using terraform for all the products under NGS. Besides working closely with your colleagues in Bangalore, you will also work closely with Nasdaq teams in other countries. Your responsibilities include

Development and Deployment:

  • Deploy and maintain AWS and Azure cloud Infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code (IaC).
  • Ensure scalable architectures that can handle varying loads and complexity.
  • Develop and deploy scripts and tools to enhance Operational and Developer efficiency (DevEx).
  • Deploy, manage, and support DevSecOps tools such as Gitlab, Jenkins, SonarQube, Nexus, etc.
  • Design/build/test robust, scalable services, and APIs using cloud technologies. 
  • Operations:

Operations:

  • Ensure users are provided efficient and timely support to incidents and service requests.
  • Act as an escalation point for faults, attend/lead investigation into incidents and complete follow up tasks.
  • Participate in an on-call rotation.
  • Help establish SLAs.

Security and Compliance:

  • Participate in regular audits and assessments to ensure cloud infrastructure meets compliance standards.
  • Regularly review and update disaster recovery strategies to mitigate risks.

Performance Monitoring and Optimization:

  • Manage and monitor cloud infrastructure, ensuring optimal performance, reliability, and cost-efficiency.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve any issues related to cloud infrastructure and services.
  • Solve problems and create solutions to prevent problem recurrence, with the goal of automating response to all non-exceptional service conditions.

Collaboration and Communication:

  • Work closely with developers, product owners, and other IT professionals to ensure seamless integration of cloud solutions.
  • Communicate effectively with non-technical stakeholders to explain technical solutions and their benefits.

We expect you to have:

  • 5 - 8 years experience in DevSecOps, DevOps, or platform engineering.
  •  AWS  Solutions Architect or equivalent certification.
  • Experience with containerization technologies such as Docker, AWS ECS, AWS EKS, Azure AKS, and Kubernetes.
  • Understanding of DevSecOps practices and tools.
  • Experience with other cloud platforms (e.g., Azure, Google Cloud) is a plus.
  • Deep experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools.
  • Proficiency in scripting languages like PowerShell or Python.
  • Experience  with CI/CD pipelines and tools such as Gitlab and Jenkins.
  • Solid understanding of networking concepts and protocols.
  • Experience with monitoring and logging tools like DataDog.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.
  • Troubleshooting and analytical skills.
  • Knowledge of best practices for securing cloud infrastructure.
  • Education Qualification: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Information Technology.
