About this role:

Wells Fargo is seeking a Risk Analytics Manager.

In this role, you will:

Manage team of less experienced associates in research and analytics tasks and processes to ensure timely completion, quality, and compliance in Risk Analytics
Identify opportunities for process improvement, modeling, data, and risk control development in less complex products
Make daily analytical decisions and resolve issues related to product performance, development of team, and analysis of trends under direction of Risk management
Leverage interpretation of policies, procedures, and compliance requirements
Collaborate with and consult with peers, managers, and other business units
Manage allocation of people and financial resources for Risk Analytics
Mentor and guide talent development of direct reports and assist in hiring talent

Required Qualifications:

4+ years of Risk Analytics experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
2+ years of leadership experience

Several years in Risk Analytics experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience
2+ years of Leadership experience
Excellent understanding of Capital markets focusing on counterparty credit risk, CCAR and stress testing.
Bachelor's or higher degree in finance, economics, econometrics, computer sciences or management
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail and accuracy
Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
Strong project management skills with ability to prioritize work, meet deadlines, achieve goals, and work under pressure in a dynamic and complex environment
Strong ability to develop partnerships and collaborate with other business and functional areas
Detail oriented, results driven, and has the ability to navigate in a quickly changing and high demand environment while balancing multiple priorities
Financial services experience, in lending, underwriting, servicing.
Experience in programming languages such as SAS, SQL, Teradata.
Knowledge and understanding of databases and data mining techniques
Ability to articulate complex concepts in a clear manner
Ability to interact with all levels of an organization and collaborate to build successful relationships
Strong understanding of bank regulatory requirements, regulatory reporting and governance requirements
Ability to research and report on a variety of issues using problem solving skills

Job Expectations:

Lead and manage a team to support the WIM CRO Credit Risk team with risk analytics activities across consumer, mortgage, and custom credit/commercial products.
Manage multiple stakeholder relationships and project engagements across credit risk organization
Leverage innovative tools to collect, analyze, and interpret large amounts of data across multiple data environments
Identify trends and patterns to inform sound business decisions.
Effectively utilize analytical tools to create visualizations and share insights.
Learn about many aspects of WIM business through partnerships with various groups including credit policy, underwriting, and servicing.
Combine technical skills with business skills to help support the team with end to end quality assurance initiatives.
Provide quantitative support of credit policy through analysis and impact assessment of prospective quality assurance findings.
Lead the team to develop recurring reporting and ad hoc analysis packages to monitor various product sets across WIM for management.
Identify opportunities for strategic and infrastructure projects.
Design and deliver process improvements, standardization, rationalization and automations
