Senior Content Technical Specialist 

Participates in the Content Operations team, providing leadership, training and work direction to the team, workgroup, or business partners in the creation and/or acquisition, preparation, and delivery of assigned content and information for creating products and product functionality in all publication media.

Manages, leads, or participates in ongoing as well as new process improvement and enhancement initiatives. Responsible for the production of one or more product lines or processes. Participates in complex projects that affect a Business Unit or regional area.

About the Role:

  • Primary point of contact for subject-matter expertise in areas of core work, process, tasks, and tools.
  • Expert resource on various systems, software, databases, and applications to deliver quality products.
  • Research content issues for customers and responds with clear and accurate answers as required.
  • Expertly performs duties related to the preparation of and final delivery of complex information such as converting, coding, merging, rendering, keying, loading and validation of information.
  • Participate in complex projects, train, and mentor colleagues in simple and complex work assignments. Participates in decision-making and prioritization for multiple complex production schedules and processes, and collaborates with other organizations on all aspects of project production.
  • Plan, organize, and conduct training for new and existing staff. Verify the work of others and provide timely feedback.
  • Consistently align with key mindsets and behaviors and set an example for the team.
  • Create and maintain progress reports and performance metrics for new hire training and cross-training efforts.
  • Conduct regular check-ins to ensure checks and balances on the functioning of production tools/systems and work input/output controls.
  • Provide guidance for routine troubleshooting; coordinate and resolve complex issues related to applications or workflows.
  • Identify and help drive the implementation of process improvements in existing workflows and development.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert to other business partners in assigned areas across the company and to 3rd party vendors.
  • Ensure documentation, instruction manuals, and checklists for all workflows/tasks are up to date. Ensures completeness, proper structure, and functionality for multiple products. Additionally, display willingness to get trained in additional product lines.
  • Independently maintains the integrity and completeness of work product and product databases for all the Projects we are responsible.
  • Demonstrate change-resilience and advocate for best practices within systems, identifying governance/training issues, and providing training/feedback.
  • Should have fair knowledge on scripting, particularly on Python. Troubleshoots complex issues related to the conversion of new or existing information for established workflows or product development enhancements.
  • Lead seamless implementation of production schedules, process migrations, and project plans. Demonstrate key interest in AI, suggest, test and implement use cases. Experience in leading key AI initiatives/workstream Rep is an added advantage.
  • Conduct quarterly process reviews to identify automation & streamlining opportunities. Participates in enhancement projects, or testing and implementation of new systems and/or processes. Strong understanding of the customer’s needs/requirements and priorities. 
  • Responds to non-standard requests from customers; investigates with assistance from others as needed. 
  • Position for a developing professional building experience in their specialist function. Good understanding of roles of relevant functional groups in own area.
  • Provides input to the objectives and goals of the department. 
  • Responsible for managing own time and responsibilities. Flexible to work in shifts to ensure business continuity for overlapping deliverables.
  • Should be willing to work in night shifts (IST)

About You:

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, able to influence and provide guidance within the functional team.
  • Demonstrates expertise in one or more workflows and is proficient in adjacent tasks or workflows.
  • Strong learning agility; able to quickly learn, apply, and extend knowledge to increasingly complex and changing work. Knowledge of
  • Detail-oriented with an aptitude for analysis and problem-solving on an individual level and within the context of a team environment.
  • Should have fair knowledge on scripting, particularly on Python and also experience with Power Apps, Power Automate and Power BI. Should have good knowledge of intricacies of HTML, XML, be able to understand and interpret DTD.
  • Ability to effectively collaborate with team members/contacts from other teams, departments, virtual and off-site teams/vendors or sourcing partners.
  • Ability to cover work during staff contingencies during non-conventional hours.
