Job Summary• This role is responsible for managing all aspects of supply chain and operations for multiple product lines within the organization, ensuring operational excellence and alignment with the organization's goals. The role supervises and leads a team of operations professionals (higher level non-exempt individual contributors) providing guidance, support, and performance evaluations. The role supports in budgeting and forecasting, and ensures strong relationship management with vendors and suppliers.Responsibilities• Undertakes accountability for supply and demand activities for multiple product lines, ensuring that performance (inventory, cost, etc.) meets global and regional planning requirements.• Manages a team of higher level non-exempt individual contributors who typically support moderately complex daily work activities.• Holds responsibility for setting priorities for the team, driving results, and ensuring an inclusive work environment.• Ensures the delivery of products and services that meet the performance metrics defined by next level management.• Manages demand and supply matching activities, connecting planning to execution and identifying issues and their impact.• Drives the identification of opportunities for process improvement and policy development and engages in their design and implementation.• Supports in budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis to support cost-effective operations.• Develops and implements insightful recommendations to address business challenges.• Performs talent management responsibilities including recruitment, performance management, coaching and career development.Education & Experience Recommended• Four-year or Graduate Degree in Supply Chain Management, Manufacturing Engineering, Operations management, Business Administration, or any other related discipline or commensurate work experience or demonstrated competence.• Typically has 8 years of job-related experience or 2-4 years of management experience, preferably in supply chain, operations, or a related field.Preferred Certifications• Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification• Certified Professional In Supply Management (Standards Organizations)Knowledge & Skills• Continuous Improvement Process• Data Analysis• Enterprise Resource Planning• Finance• Inventory Control• Inventory Management• Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)• Lean Manufacturing• Material Requirements Planning• Materials Management• Process Improvement• Procurement• Production Planning• Purchasing• SAP Applications• Supply Chain• Supply Chain Analysis• Supply Chain Management• Supply Chain Planning• WarehousingCross-Org Skills• Customer Centricity• Prioritization• Resilience• Team Management• Strategic ThinkingImpact & Scope• Impacts multiple teams and supports projects requiring understanding of multiple disciplines or areas of HP.Complexity• Develops creative responses to resolve issues.Disclaimer• This job description describes the general nature and level of work performed in this role.
