The compiler team within DCAI at Intel has an opportunity available for a Compiler Engineering Manager. This is a great opportunity to on work on cutting-edge technologies to design, develop, debug, test compiler software and programming languages. You will be managing a team of software professionals working on advanced compiler optimizations and features specific for Intel Architectures, and application performance analysis. As an engineering manager, your responsibilities may include, but are not limited to:
Provide architectural and technical guidance and ensure that sound engineering practices are followed.
Provides direction and goals to the group and interacts with stakeholders both internal and external. Set priorities for the team, achieve results across boundaries, ensure an inclusive work environment, develop employees, and manage performance.
You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates.
Minimum Qualifications: Degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science or Electrical Engineering or Physics or math or SW Engineering or Scientific computing or other related technical discipline 5 years of people management experience and relevant industry experience.8+ years of software development experience Solid knowledge of C++.Strong communication skills,
including an ability to break down complex issues into concise and accurate summaries
Preferred Qualifications: Knowledge of x86 instruction set architecture and Advanced Vector Extensions (AVX)Experience with performance analysis and optimization Experience in working in cross-geo environment At least 1+ years of development experience in compilers or an adjacent area LLVM knowledge is a strong plus.
