About this role:

Wells Fargo is seeking a Benefits Senior Manager - Total Rewards.

In this role, you will:

  • Manage and develop multiple Benefits programs
  • Develop functional area's budget and review existing and proposed Benefits laws and regulations and take or recommend corrective action
  • Identify and recommend opportunities for process improvement and risk control development within Benefits functional area
  • Design, develop, and implement Benefits programs to ensure organizational goals and governmental requirements are met
  • Determine appropriate strategy and actions of a Benefits team to meet business objectives
  • Exercise authority of a manager, including selection and development of individuals within Benefits functional area
  • Collaborate with and influence all levels of professionals, including managers in the Benefits function
  • Manage allocation of people and financial resources to ensure commitments are met and align with strategic objectives in the Benefits function
  • Develop and guide a culture of talent development to meet business objectives and strategy within Benefits functional area

Required Qualifications:

  • 6+ years of Benefits experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
  • 3+ years of management or leadership experience

    Desired Qualifications:

    • Experience in Benefits, preferably in a Banking Industry
    • Strong experience in managing a team
    • Strategic thinking and good business judgment.
    • Knowledge and understanding of compensation and benefits strategies for highly complex business groups.
    • Highly effective consultative manager with credibility through demonstrating strong business and data driven acumen, passion for customer service and operational excellence.
    • Demonstrated skills in influencing and navigating across a complex, highly matrixed global organization with a collaborative mindset.
    • Virtual managerial experience with ability to effectively drive results, provide feedback/direction, and manage and build relationships with leaders and team members in a geographically dispersed team environment.
    • Strong communication skills. This includes the ability to simplify complex concepts.
    • Proactive control and risk management, addressing gaps in processes and escalating issues to benefit the business and clients in a dynamic environment.

    • Lead your team with integrity and create an environment where your team members feel included, valued, and supported to do work that energizes them.
    • Accomplish management responsibilities which include sourcing and hiring talented team members, providing ongoing coaching and feedback, recognizing, and developing team members, identifying, and managing risks, and completing daily management tasks.
