As a Test Specialist, you will play a key role in the delivery of complex technical systems of varying sizes to new and existing customers and will be part of discovering new technologies within the FinTech industry. With this position we offer :We are now looking for a Test Specialist to strengthen the Alerts Engine team in Bangalore. You will be responsible for providing technical and Functional test strategic solution which also aligns with functional business flows in the Nasdaq Trade Surveillance portfolio of Software Products and Software Services for Market Post trade compliance and New Markets.We are looking for candidates who share those values along with a genuine desire and drive to deliver top technology solutions to today's markets.

Your role and responsibilities:

You will contribute to cross-functional teams across the globe, delivering critical solutions and services to world-leading and award winning Market Surveillance Products. You will be responsible for significant technical deliverables and internal stakeholder interaction and cross functional team interaction.

Furthermore, you will: 

  • A demonstrated ability as a Server-Side Tester with strong back-end testing knowledge and proven record of using UNIX/Linux command line tools and regular expression (grep, sed, Perl, awk, etc.)
  • Effective communication skills, with excellent ability to question vague requirements and be comfortable in presenting testing strategies in front of any audience
  • Analytical skills with a structured approach, a great teammate and someone who has a goal for improving business best practices and a passion for problem solving.

We expect you to have :

  • Minimum of 6 to 7 years of experience in Manual Testing with expertise in strong back end testing.
  • Must have worked on UNIX/Linux command line tools and regular expression (grep, sed, Perl, awk, etc.).
  • Expertise in creating test automation tools utilizing Jenkins, Pipelines, groovy, etc.
  • Should have worked on scripting languages such as Bash/Shell/Python.
  • Server Side Functional/Non Functional testing strategy development and execution.
  • Bachelors in computer science, Information Systems or related discipline, or equivalent work experience.

It would be great if you :

  • Experience in developing and maintaining testing tools/framework to be used by the broader team
  • Experience in testing applications/service hosted in AWS.
  • Special Qualifications:  Specialist certifications in QA/Testing methodology.
