Job Summary

As a Software Engineering Senior Associate, your role centres on collaborating with and supporting your team across a range of Software Engineering activities. Having gained a sound understanding of the DevOps terminology, tools, practices, processes and artefacts – you will complete minor assignments with autonomy, and a range of moderately complex DevOps work under close supervision from more senior team members.In this role, you will embrace a culture of continuous improvement, and contribute to establishing a sustainable framework of continuous integration, quality assurance monitoring and testing. Your teamwork skills, continuous learning mindset, and ability to adapt to feedback are critical to success in this role, as you develop your knowledge and experience in the Software Engineering Domain.

Job Description

  • As a Software Engineering-Senior Associate, you apply your software skills and a continuous learning and development mindset to deliver the following responsibilities:

  • You will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining security configurations within Workday to ensure proper access control, data privacy, and compliance. Their role is critical in protecting sensitive HR, finance, and payroll data while ensuring that users have the appropriate permissions to perform their tasks efficiently.

  • • Effectively collaborate and work within and across teams in order to help gather functional and non-functional requirements, and design, build test and deploy software solutions into production• Make decisions and solve problems by applying analytical thinking to organise information from a breadth of data and research sources, escalating to more senior team members when additional support is required.• Embrace the ways of working mindsets and behaviours of your team

  • Basic Qualifications

  • Building and supporting functional and integrations to and from Workday and peripheral systems including robust testing of each

  • Workday – EIB, Studio, PECI, WECI Document Transformation, Core HCM /Benefits / Payroll Connectors, Calculated Fields, XSLT / XML, Web Services API

  • Should have experience in designing and developing EIB’s, Studio, xslt, DT, PECI

  • Conduct root cause analysis and guide us in implementing improvements and preventative measures

  • Participate in health checks on Workday integration landscape; providing recommendations to ensure optimal performance, improve accuracy and ensure we are maximizing our Workday investment

  • Assist and provide tier 3 support on HR production issues

  • Should have the ability to have design discussions with the stakeholders

  • Ability to code, write design / technical specifications, perform code reviews, understand integration strategies, perform data conversions, understand how HR interfaces with other modules

  • Excellent Communication Skills

  • Other Qualifications

  • Advanced understanding of the complete software implementation lifecycle

  • Participation in minimum of 3 full life cycle WD implementations

  • Advanced understanding of the complete software implementation lifecycle - including integrations requirements gathering, design, development, testing, and move to production

  • Experience leading an Integration workstream on a software implementation

  • Excellent creative thinking, an eagerness to overcome challenges and work independently towards success.

  • Ability to prioritize and handle multiple complex projects at the same time

  • Being agile and flexible while adapting to a changing environment

  • Passion in learning and mastering new technologies and technical skills

  • Team collaboration, and efficiency focus

  • Experience:

  • 3+ years of experience with WD integration development, report building and data migration

  • 3+ years of Human Resource, Payroll or Financials domain experience

  • Certifications:

  • Workday Integration Certified, WD Extend Certification Desirable, WD Reporting Certified
