In this role you will be responsible to coordinate and expedite the complete Quality activities, according to production schedules.

As a Quality Assurance Specialist- Mechanical, you will be responsible for:

  • Predominantly working in documentation preparation of New customer Audits /  Site Qualifications
  • Documentation preparation & co-ordination of  Regulatory surveillance, re-certification, new certification Audits of ISO 9001, PED, CML, Ex-product.
  • Co-ordination & Documentation preparation of New customer qualification & on-boarding
  • Plan, prepare  & co-ordinate Regulatory certification audits for  NPI / TOW certifications & qualifications
  • Play a key role for Marine valves design file preparation
  • Become knowledgeable with the various product certifications and develop deep understanding, Track QMS requirements- Audits, Task, Training, Certification renewal, Customer audits etc in Gensuite 
  • Elaborates proposals for improvement in approaches, methods, procedures and processes in the own field.
  • Handles communication with direct colleagues and the business about design and coordination services rendered.
  • Contributes to project as a team member.  Work goals typically take 1-3 month to complete and results are seen immediately or within 1-2 months
  • Support the team to Schedule unplanned product/process audits to determine system adequacy based on uneven trends, NC, customer feedback etc to fix the problem.

Fuel your passion

To be successful in this role you will:

  • Have BE/Btech OR Full-time in Mechanical Engineering or Metallurgy or Production Engineering
  • 5- 10 years of experience Manufacturing testing and application
  • Knowledge in Control valve codes and standards ( (PED, ATEX, ASME)
  • Qualified Internal Quality Auditor
  • Six Sigma Green Belt certification is preferred
  • Certifications – NACE CIP Level-II, NDT Level-II, Lead Auditor certificate (Good to have)
  • Have excellent written and verbal communications skills. Fluency English is essential.
