Job Summary

  • We are seeking an experienced and data-driven Digital Journey Product Owner to manage a squads and optimize our digital sales journeys through Conversion Rate Optimization (CRO), Search Engine Optimization (SEO), analytics, and user experience (UX) enhancements. This role is critical in improving digital customer acquisition and engagement by leveraging data analytics, A/B testing, benchmarking, and research-driven strategies.
  • The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in digital analytics (Adobe Analytics), SEO strategies, user behavior insights, and data-driven decision-making to drive growth in our wealth and retail banking products.

Key Responsibilities

Digital Sales Journey Optimization & CRO • Optimize end-to-end digital customer acquisition funnels for retail banking products (e.g., credit cards, loans, accounts). • Drive Conversion Rate Optimization (CRO) initiatives by conducting A/B testing, personalization, and behavioral analysis. • Analyze customer journeys to identify drop-off points, friction areas, and conversion blockers, implementing data-driven improvements. • Utilize heatmaps, session recordings, and form analytics tools (e.g., Hotjar, Crazy Egg) to enhance user experience and reduce abandonment rates.

SEO & Digital Growth  • Drive organic growth, including on-page, off-page, and technical SEO improvements. • Conduct keyword research, competitor analysis, and SEO audits to improve search rankings and organic traffic. • Collaborate with content teams to develop SEO-optimized landing pages and digital assets for product marketing. • Optimize product pages for search intent, meta descriptions, schema markup, and mobile-first indexing.

Data Analytics & Research-Driven Insights • Use Adobe Analytics), and data visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau) to monitor and analyze digital performance. • Develop dashboards and KPIs to track digital sales journey performance and customer behavior. • Conduct user research, benchmarking, and review to identify best practices and innovation opportunities. • Utilize predict and evaluate, AI-driven insights, and behavioral segmentation to enhance personalization and targeting.

UX & Customer-Centric Enhancements • Work closely with UX/UI designers to improve digital journey usability, accessibility, and mobile responsiveness. • Implement best practices in microcopy, persuasive design, and psychological triggers to enhance customer engagement. • Leverage feedback from customer surveys, usability testing, and Net Promoter Score (NPS) to drive continuous improvements.

Stakeholder Collaboration & Agile Product Management • Act as the Product Owner in Agile teams, defining the backlog, writing user stories, and prioritizing tasks based on business impact. • Collaborate with marketing, IT, data science, and business teams to align digital strategies with broader banking goals. • Manage workshops and training on digital sales optimization, analytics, and experimentation culture.  

Must-Have Skills:

  •  CRO Expertise – Hands-on experience with A/B testing, personalization, heatmaps, and conversion rate optimization.
  •  SEO Mastery – Strong understanding of search engine algorithms, keyword research, technical SEO, and link-building strategies.
  •  Data & Analytics Skills – Proficiency in Adobe Analytics, Google Analytics (GA4), SQL, Power BI, or Tableau.
  •  User Experience & UX Writing – Understanding of user behavior, persuasive copywriting, and usability principles.
  •  Digital Sales & Growth Strategies – Experience in customer journey mapping, lead generation, and funnel optimization.
  •  Agile & Product Ownership – Experience working in Agile environments, managing backlogs, and running sprints.
  •  Technical SEO Knowledge – Hands-on experience with structured data, site speed optimization, and Google Search Console.
  •  Familiarity with Experimentation Tools – Experience with Adobe Target or similar platforms.

  • This person combines an in-depth knowledge of business objectives, digital strategies, and the competitive landscape with a rich background in the digital banking industry to deliver a compelling digital banking roadmap.

  • Responsible for identifying, assessing, monitoring, controlling and mitigating risks to the Group as well as managing them.

  • Awareness and Understanding of the regulatory framework in which the Group operates, and the regulatory requirements and expectations relevant to the role. Collaboratively work with internal stakeholders and local regulators to address governance issues

Qualifications

  • Experience in Banking or Financial Services – Understanding of retail banking customer behavior, digital onboarding, and regulatory considerations.
  • Coding & Scripting Basics – Ability to work with developers on HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and tag implementation for tracking.
  • Education & Experience Requirements
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Marketing, Business, Computer Science, Data Analytics, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in digital optimization, CRO, SEO, or product ownership within a digital banking or e-commerce environment.

Experience

  • 5-8 years of experience in product management on mobile and web, digital sales, customer experience roles, preferably in banking or financial services in an agile team. Experience with agile methodologies and product lifecycle and backlog managmenet using Azue Devops(ADO).

Technical Proficiency: 

  • Having experience working with Martech tools such as Adobe Experience Platform, PEGA RTIM, Adobe AEM, Apps Flyer and Wordpress would be a plus. Expert in sales funnel and conversion rate optimisation on mobile and web.

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Computer Science, or a related field. MBA or equivalent is a plus.
