Job Title: NFR Transformation - Business Analyst

Role Description

  • The role is part of the transformation team that works within NFRM (Non-Financial Risk Management) and with stakeholders in the business and other control functions to assess, design and lead the delivery of business outcomes across our ServiceNow Integrated Risk Management (IRM) tool known as dbGRC and legacy platform BCS.
  • Partnering with Global Technology, the transformation team are Process Owners for the ServiceNow IRM and BCS tool.  In the role you will be accountable for the build out of functionality and on-going maintenance of NFRM business-owned application by partnering with our implementation partners, managing stakeholders, acting as requirements gatekeeper, solution design and subject matter experts for the entire user community. You will assist with the Business configuration of the platforms to meet stakeholders’ requirements and to deliver operating model initiatives.

Your key responsibilities

  • Oversee implementation of upgrades and customization across the NFRM Business owned applications in line with the Bank’s Policies and principles and NFRMs strategy.
  • Act as guardian and gatekeeper for the principle of minimizing customization of the Service Now IRM / legacy tool.
  • Understand and communicate NFRM Business owned applications product roadmap and its impact on processes across DB. Document Business requirements and process flow charts/ data modelling to ensure the use cases are captured.
  • Manages senior stakeholders across different regions and teams to align expectations, escalate issues & risks and provides updates on project status.
  • Challenge status-quo, identify, and address any process and operating model improvements.
  • Maintain consistency and efficiency of the NFRM Business owned platforms, through configuration including the Bank-wide entity model and incorporating good practices and standards.
  • Liaise/Direct the development team / implementation partners to transform the business objectives into optimum technological delivery.

Your skills and experience

  • Strong analytical skills - ability to think abstractly and conceptualize complex process flows and/or requirements whilst demonstrating ownership with the ability to operate in a flexible, dynamic environment where creative and strategic thinking along with quick decision making are required in driving solution, initiatives, and projects.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and a desire to innovate with strong proficiency using Microsoft Office products for Windows including Word, Excel, SharePoint, and Visio.
  • University degree, preferably in a quantitative/science-related discipline or finance, business economics, Economics, Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems.
  • Proven agile experience of 7+ years as Business Analyst / Product Owner / Product Manager / Project and having an experience in BCS / ServiceNow being advantageous.
  • Working knowledge of Operational risk management principles and the regulatory environment
  • Highly proficient in spoken and written English.
