Job Summary

• Working closely with Bangalore delivery lead to support and execute as per the end-to-end testing strategy and/or migration testing strategy of Prime & Clearing overall deliverables and for larger project deliveries.   • Create detailed, comprehensive and well-structured test plans and test cases, incorporating industry and SCB best practises. • Drive and monitor the execution of the E2E testing cycles (for all different types of testing; automated, manual, performance and capacity testing, etc…) • Test data/Environment setup in-coordination with upstream/downstream teams • Identify, document, report bugs/issues, and follow-through all open issues through resolution within agreed timelines. • Participate or chair relevant forums and ensure proper hand shake with the PMs, Delivery Leads, SMEs, stakeholders and vendors where applicable. • Review requirements, specifications and technical design documents to provide timely and meaningful feedback (Backlog review) • Supporting testing automation for the applications within the Prime & Clearing area, especially with focus on new applications being onboarded.  • Ensure conformance on all testing requirements with SCB's testing framework requirements, eg Technology Delivery Assurance Framework, Unified Testing Model. • Track quality assurance metrics, like defect densities, test coverage and open defect counts • Investigate the causes of non-conforming software and train users to implement solutions • Stay up-to-date with new testing tools and test strategies

  • Exercise authorities delegated by the Board of Directors and act in accordance with Articles of Association (or equivalent)

•    Product Owner, Scrum Master, Project / Program manager, Delivery lead

Other Responsibilities

  • Embed Here for good and Group’s brand and values in  team; Perform other responsibilities assigned under Group, Country, Business or Functional policies and procedures; Multiple functions (double hats);

Skills and Experience

  • Solid knowledge of JAVA, SQL, Shell and/or Python scripting    
  • Hands-on experience with following automated build/testing tools (At-least 3)

•    Selenium •    Cucumber •    Jenkins(Maven) •    ADO •    JMeter •    LoadRunner •    XML    

  • Software development/automation frameworks    
  • Software quality assurance/engineering    
  • Software QA methodologies, tools and processes    
  • Exposure to DevOps tool sets and techniques (e.g. Atlassian Bamboo)    
  • Exposure to Exchange Traded Derivatives Clearing workflows, architecture and/or Financial Markets Post Trade Systems.
  • Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development process    

Qualifications

• Experience in writing clear, concise and comprehensive test plans and test cases(English is must) • Experience in coordinating and driving major to large end-to-end testing across numerous interfaces and applications • Hands-on experience with Non-functional Testing e.g. performance, security • Hands-on experience with both white box and black box testing • Banking Domain experience • BE/BTech/MS degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related subject
