Job Summary

Support as part of CDD Execution Team - Primary responsibility for ensuring accurate and timely completion of CDD onboardings/renewals, identification of required documentation, sourcing of underlying documents, and maintenance of client static data.

Key Responsibilities

  • Works with existing team members to ensure needs are fulfilled on an ongoing basis.  Specifically:
  • Conducting risk assessments on new and existing customers.
  • Searching for and critically analyzing the collected information, preparing documentation and ensuring compliance with Group/Country regulation.
  • Utilizing AML and KYC tools to analyze and interpret complex data.
  • Engage with Relationship Manager’s, Middle office team and clients as required to obtain any missing documentation.  
  • Ensure all emails from clients /stakeholders are attended to with utmost priority.
  • Ensure timely and quality delivery of cases assigned.
  • Keep self-abreast on any updates on policy and procedures issued by the Group/Country regulation.
  • Support MIS /Tracking of deliverables for self and team
  • Escalation of issues on profile production to CDD Checker/Supervisor/Manager.
  • Serve as a backup for Line Manager for key deliverables in his/her absence.

Qualifications

  • 2-4 years’ experience in the Financial Services Industry.
  • Knowledge of AML and KYC regulations and best practices.
  • Analytical and critical thinking skills.
  • Problem Solving Skills – ability to think ‘Out of the Box’ and independently work around issues that arise from time to time.
  • Attention to detail and strong organizational abilities.
  • Needs to have an excellent understanding of sourcing information from various data sources, and in several cases utilizing financial reports, and audited statements for such purposes. Should have a keen eye for detail and needs to present his/her case accurately.
  • Knowledge of the CDD systems and processes and of the different requirements of certain countries desirable.
  • Written and spoken English needs to be at par with business standards considering the amount of interaction required primarily through written communication.
  • Language skills (other than English/other Indian languages) a plus but not mandatory for the required role.
