JOB SUMMARY

  • Cloud Engineer with 3-8 years of experience in cloud and on-prem infrastructure management. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in Terraform, Ansible, Kubernetes, Kafka, Hazelcast, ELK, and Prometheus while maintaining and managing infrastructure across both cloud and on-prem environments. A strong understanding of networking, Linux, and automation is required.

Infrastructure Automation & Management:

  • Provision and manage cloud and on-prem VMs using Terraform.
  • Automate installation and configuration of Kafka, Hazelcast, and ELK using Ansible.
  • Maintain containerized applications using Kubernetes.

Monitoring & Observability:

  • Set up and maintain Prometheus and ELK for monitoring and alerting.
  • Implement logging and performance monitoring solutions.
  • Cloud & On-Prem Infrastructure Management:
  • Support hybrid cloud environments (AWS/Azure/OpenShift) and on-prem Kubernetes clusters.
  • Troubleshoot infrastructure issues, ensuring high availability and scalability.

Security & Compliance:

  • Ensure infrastructure meets security best practices and compliance requirements.
  • Manage IAM roles, encryption keys, and network security in cloud environments

 RESPONSIBILITIES

Processes

  • Interacting with the technical team to ensure that the requirements are clear and well understood.
  • Work with the delivery / implementation teams to provide domain inputs and to ensure delivery and implementation of the proposed solution into Solution Design and Implementation methodologies.
  • Ability to work in Waterfall, Iterative or Agile methodology of SDLC,
  • Ensure adherence to standardized cloud and infra structure deployment processes, optimizing automation, security and scalability. 
  • Locate and define new process improvement opportunities.

Qualification

  • Education     BE / MCA / MSC in Computer Science     
  • Certifications     AWS Solutions Architect, CKAD/CKA, or Azure certifications preferred
