As a Software Developer Specialist, you will play a key role in the delivery of complex technical solutions to new and existing customers leveraging the AxiomSL ControllerView Platform and will be part of discovering new technologies within the FinTech industry.We are now looking for a Software Developer Specialist to strengthen the AxiomSL Regulatory Applications Architect team in Pune. You will be responsible for driving the execution of initiatives across the Nasdaq AxiomSL technology portfolio of Software Products.We are looking for candidates who share those values along with a genuine desire and drive to deliver top technology solutions to today's markets. Join the architects organization for Nasdaq’s AxiomSL Regulatory Applications team. The main objective for the architecture team to design, develop and build automation around development of Nasdaq’s AxiomSL Regulatory products. As our new member, you will work with a group of enthusiastic and experienced team members. Together with your team, you will play a key role in the delivery of AxiomSL Regulatory products.

Your role and responsibilities:

You will play a key role in the design and build of AxiomSL regulatory products and be hands on with the development of the solutions working with other members of the product development teams.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to work in a strong expert team delivering sophisticated technology solutions to international clients. You will work with and learn from domain experts, and have the opportunity to take on more responsibility.

The Architecture team supports all AxiomSL Regulatory Products development teams, so you will also be involved with helping and assisting with other global initiatives and projects.

Besides working closely with your colleagues in Pune, you will also work closely with Nasdaq teams in other countries.

Furthermore, you will: 

You will work with Application Development resources and wider team to analyze and understand business requirements and prepare/chip in to design specifications.

You will chip in towards the development of regulatory products.

You will carry out/assist in performance tuning and performance benchmarking of regulatory products.

Build/Test/Support tools/ pipelines used in the release of our regulatory software to clients

Bring innovative ideas to improve our products, the quality of deliveries, and development processes.

Guide and support product implementation teams with the deployment and data integration of the regulatory applications.

Assist with solving and bug fixing.

Assist with L3 support of the existing products and solutions.

We expect you to have

At least 8 years of software development experience overall, with 5+ years ofdemonstrated ability using the AxiomSL ControllerView Platform

Proficient in database concepts including performance tuning

A good understanding of XML/XBRL

Basic understanding REST APIs and networks

Strong written and verbal English in business and technical contexts

Strong analytical demeanour and eagerness to understand and solve problems

Ability to multi-task and the ability to quickly transition as priorities change to meet demands.

High sense of intellectual curiosity – self-ownership of learning and horizon-broadening opportunities.

Education Qualification: Bachelors/Masters Degree or equivalent from accredited university in Computer Science, Software engineering, or other related degrees.

It would be great if you .

Hands on development of Python or R programming languages

Experience in building/configuring Jenkins declarative pipelines

AxiomSL Scripting Language experience

Prior banking or financial regulation analysis

experience.

Experience with other programming languages like Java.

A good understanding of one of AxiomSL’s Regulatory Solutions.

Basic Groovy scripting

Basic Linux
