Role Description
- The ITAO is the function responsible on the application lifecycle governance.
- The ITAO manager will ensure applications in the portfolio will ensure compliance, maintenance and improvement processes are following DB policies and customer requirements.

Your key responsibilities
- Manages and maintains the application ensuring compliance with applicable IT policies & procedures with specific consideration to IT Management and Information Security policies.
- Is responsible for setting up various environments for development, testing and production.
- Is responsible for implementing and upgrading system hardware and application software.
- Leads the discussions with Business for new requirements.
- Leads the discussion with Vendor regarding the product implementation, customization, and enhancements.
- Is responsible for delivery of the application releases, defect fixes.
- Assists more junior members of the team and controls their work where applicable.
- Enterprise IT governance, Information security, Information content publishing, Specialist advice, Knowledge management, Business risk management, Continuity management, Data management, Requirement’s definition and management, Availability management, Service acceptance, Configuration management, Asset management, change management, security administration, Application support, Problem management, Incident management, Quality assurance, Confirmation review, Relationship management.
- From a technical/ITAO activity perspective, provide guidance, support, and training to the fellow ITAOs within the portfolio, Pune or Bucharest based.
- Align on deliveries and strategy of NARs.
- Make sure portfolio is compliant, considering tasks and activities coming from: Control Workbench, and other requirements from the stakeholders.
- Participate in planning/Scrum meetings and make sure tasks are gathered before Quarterly Reviews and make sure priorities are set by working closely with Scrum Master.
- Provide support and expertise on GCP technical aspects to the squads.
- Make sure ITAO community changes and updates are known and followed in the ITAO community.
- Make sure ITAO Lead directions are known and followed in the ITAO community.
- Ensure that the changes to the applications in scope are fully aligned DB standards and regulations. The focus is to guarantee the system stability and to ensure a smooth and successful transition to production, steady state environment.
- Ensure availability of all necessary application/service knowledge and documentation.
- Manage technical projects necessary to ensure required and established service levels are maintained.
- Ensure policy-compliance of applications in scope.
- Efficiently engage, manage, and influence the main stakeholders, along with the related emerging risks and opportunities.
- Ensures documentation availability.
- Contributes to audits and make sure the team answers professionally and the timelines are respected and properly communicated.
- Contributes to Go Live transitions.
- Collaborates with Support entities on ensuring proper operational levels for the given application.
- Follow-up on capacity management.
Your skills and experience
- GCP expertise of 1-2 years.
- ITAO GCP curriculum training successfully completed.
- Knowledge about ITIL framework. Certification will be a plus.
- Experience with IT Service management processes
- Database knowledge (Oracle)
- 8+ years of work experience in IT.
- 5+ years project management or application owner experience.
- Master’s degree or equivalent work experience required;
- Experience working with distributed development teams.
- Experience with SDLC framework;
- Excellent communication skills written and verbal at all levels including senior management;
- Experience with audit and compliance;
- Experienced with: Java Server Technology, ANT, continuous integration and dev ops tools will be a plus;
- High-level knowledge on Cloud (IaaS, PaaS, SaaS)
- Ability to work on tight deadlines and
- Coordination skills between multi-region teams and stakeholders.
Education/Certification
- University degree, relevant field of knowledge; ITIL or relevant
