We are seeking an Ink and Process Researcher to join our process development group and advance our unique digital printing technology. This role offers the opportunity to work with experienced researchers in state-of-the-art labs, contributing to world-leading R&D. You will engage in multidisciplinary research and hands-on experimentation to drive innovation in printing processes, ink technology, and consumables development.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead research and development activities related to HP Indigo printing technology, focusing on overall printing process aspects and/or ink and consumables development. Contribute to formulation development, performance optimization, and seamless integration into the printing process to achieve superior print quality and business needs.
  • Design, execute, and analyze experiments involving materials science, physics, and engineering.
  • Build physical models to characterize system interactions and define critical parameters.
  • Develop and refine quantitative measurement methodologies both on-press and offline, utilizing physical and materials characterization instrumentation for process investigation and optimization.
  • Convert marketing requirements into engineering specifications through theoretical and experimental analysis.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, presenting findings to stakeholders.
  • Develop structured work plans, monitor progress, and report results.

Requirements:

Must-Have:

  • MSc in Physics, Materials Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Strong research methodology, data analysis, and problem-solving skills.
  • Hands-on experimental work experience.
  • Multidisciplinary technical knowledge and intuition for process interactions.
  • Team player with excellent communication skills (Hebrew and English). 

Nice to Have:

  • PhD in a relevant field.
  • 3-5 years of experience in a multidisciplinary R&D environment.
  • Strong leadership abilities with a structured, independent approach.
  • Physical instrumentation and materials characterization knowledge.
  • Expertise in modeling and algorithm development.
