In this role, you have the opportunity to work as a Supplier Engineering Business Partner overseeing manufacturing and NPI activity. As a manager, you will have to collaborate on a daily basis with other CT teams on a global level and make sure that we always provide high-quality aspects in the Supplier Selection process.Your role:
Provide Supplier Engineering leadership and vision to enable the organization’s short and long term objectives
Develop and deploy supplier quality strategy in line with supply management and business strategy
Deploy, set, assesses and decides (veto) on the quality aspects in the Supplier Selection process
Ensure that the supplier partners related risks (quality; delivery; cost) are controlled and mitigated
Deploy and follow-up on the Supplier Engineering Related KPI’s towards the suppliers and SE’s
Ensures the assigned supply base meets the Philips sustainability requirements
Develops multiple supplier relations in order to involve key suppliers as early as possible
Recommend strategic directions, policies and establishes quality management directives
Ensures the annual definition of the quality improvement plan (QIP) for strategic/preferred BOM suppliers based on business needs, ensure timely implementation
You're the right fit if you have:
Bachelor’s degree in an engineering or science or other relevant field
Deep Knowledge of Quality/Supplier Quality or Procurement or Supply Chain Management driving change management and project management initiatives
Experience with Process Validation
Exposure to working within a regulated environment
Must be an effective communicator, a strong collaborator and, be comfortable operating in a matrixed environment
Strong working knowledge of statistical methods/analytics, Lean and, continuous improvement practices
Leadership experience in various aspects of Quality (including internal and external representation on Quality) preferably in Supplier quality- Advantage.
