Partner with the best 

An a Lead Technology & Regulatory Standard Engineer you will need to understand the existing business product certification, work with the technology team on sustaining and NPI projects, develop a strategy to achieve a certification approval, contribute to the design phase of the product and support certification audits. 

As a Lead Technology & Regulatory Standard Engineer , you will be responsible for:

  • Having certification of equipment used is hazardous (classified) and ordinary locations and intrinsic safety and explosion proof protection methods
  • Being the go to person for knowledge of ATEX, Low Voltage Directive and IECEx scheme and support product designs to ensure they meet safety standards
  • Participating on NPI teams supporting all project certification requirements and working with certification agencies to obtain results to meet dynamic schedule
  • Preparing and maintain documentation to support product certifications including internal Engineering Change Order review and implementation
  • Having the ability to work with a cross functional global design team
  • Preparing and maintain Technical Construction Files for EMC, ATEX and LVD
  • Applying Health, Safety and Environment (HS&E) standards and procedures in all situations to ensure compliance is maintained

Fuel your passion 

To be successful in this role you will: 

  • Have a Bachelors degree in Engineering or science based discipline or equivalent experience
  • Have 4 years of experience in product certifications
  • Demonstrate experience with global industrial codes, standards and regulations, EN, IEC, NEMA, ISA, ISO, UL, CSA, ANSI
  • Be familiar with EMC test methodologies and relevant product standards
  • Develop experience and familiarity with ASME B31.3 pressure vessel code, Canadian Registration and Dual Seals
  • Display familiarity with NRTL’s and global test houses & knowledge of Solidworks, AutoCad or Adobe Illustrator
