About the Team

Workday is looking for an individual with a passion for learning, helping business partners, and data analysis. The ideal candidate brings a basic understanding of reporting frameworks, the ability to drive processes improvement strategies, and can work with others to accomplish priority initiatives. Good communication skills (written and verbal) and an ability to partner with our business counterparts to help influence reporting are a must

About the Role

The role of Data Informatics Analyst will entail the following -

  • Develop technical expertise in various Workday technologies, including but not limited to, the reporting and analytics framework and security framework.

  • Follow standard operating instructions to complete daily tasks efficiently and contribute to updating those procedures as necessary.

  • Demonstrate business knowledge and expertise to uncover process gaps and work multi-functionally to formulate plans to improve support model.

  • Collaborate with internal partners to: identify, define, and clarify business requirements; translating needs into efficient reports and configurations that conform to standard methodologies and provide data driven insights.

  • Build organization-wide relationships to move initiatives forward and position ideas to enhance the likelihood of success.

  • Contribute to documentation, QA, and organization of our analytics tooling.

About You

Basic Qualifications

  • Currently pursuing or recently completed (within 12 months) a Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Business Intelligence, Computer Science or equivalent

  • Prior internship, coursework, or relevant project experience in data analysis

Other Qualifications

  • Familiarity with Workday HCM, Workday reporting, and/or Workday Prism, a plus

  • Excellent problem solving and troubleshooting skills.

  • Demonstrable understanding of business requirements gathering (e.g., identifying and mapping business needs to application capabilities).

  • Enjoy communicating and collaborating, and establishing positive relationships with all levels of an organization

  • Ability to identify process gaps and provide improvements

  • Demonstrated interpersonal skills.

  • Capable of working in an agile environment
