Description -

Delivers a first-class employee life-cycle HR service experience to Global HP employees by utilizing a digital HR support model/experience via end-to-end operational services. Identifies emerging applications and drives process improvements and simplification that supports business and people strategy. Consults with HR partners and businesses to plan, develop and implement HR IT solutions to meet organizational requirements. Defines strategy for HR Services support of Mergers, Acquisitions, Divestitures and Outsourcing (MADO) and leads MADO support activities. Accountable for HR data privacy, risk and compliance.

What a People Services Consultant does at HP:

  • Act as an HR consultant on matters of medium to high complexity constantly advising, local HR and business stakeholders (i.e. managers and employees) on local legislations, HR Systems and HR processes.
  • Review country HR processes,  policies and ensures these are compliant with the local legislations.     
  • Make final decisions on administrative or operational matters, ensuring actions are in compliance with HR policies, local legislations and processes.
  • Develop and deliver trainings for new processes, programs and platform rollouts. 
  • Recognize and report trends to improve employees and manager direct access experience with HR sites, myHR Sites, myHR Services and HR system.
  • Oversee and continuously improve employee on-boarding and off-boarding.
  • Work closely with HR Systems and Process Integration teams to streamline processes, leverage automation and workflow and spearheads improvements to systems and user experience.
  • Proactively identify opportunities to improve existing processes and/or implements new ones.
  • Lead or support country/regional/global projects.
  • Partner with HR technology team to streamline processes, leverage automation and workflow to demonstrate positive business impact.

Individuals who do well in this role at HP, usually possess:

  • Bachelor's degree in relevant area or demonstrated competence. Typically 2-6 years of experience in HR and familiar with HR System.
  • Strong customer focus while maintaining a high level of integrity and confidentiality. 
  • Excellent analytical and problem solving skills.
  • Advanced multi-tasking and prioritization skills.
  • Excellent consulting skills and understanding of HP policies, programs and processes.
  • Experienced professional with a full understanding of area of specialization.
  • Advanced relationship management skills, including partnering and consulting.
  • Strong influencing skills to implement processes.
  • Adapt style to different cultures.
  • Problem solving thinker.
  • Capacity to implement  processes and programs across geographies and functional areas.
  • Some senior management interface interaction on execution of tactics.
  • Applies developed subject matter knowledge to solve common and complex business issues within established guidelines and recommends appropriate alternatives.
  • Works on problems of diverse complexity and scope.
