Job Description

Position Mission – the purpose of the job
To support the Engineering Department through accurate financial analysis, budget management, and cost
control. This role is responsible for preparing and monitoring the Engineering budget, tracking expenditures, and
analyzing cost efficiencies related to resource utilization and maintenance scheduling. Generate insightful reports
on financial performance, identify trends in spending and resource usage, and ensure compliance with financial
policies.
Functional Responsibility
● Manage the Engineering department’s budgeting and forecasting processes, ensuring accuracy and
alignment with financial goals.
● Track and analyze engineering expenses, payments, and resource allocations to optimize financial efficiency.
● Prepare comprehensive financial reports on-budget performance, cost trends, and variances for senior
management review.
● Collaborate with Engineering and Operations to ensure accurate data collection and alignment with budgetary
objectives.
● Develop financial models and provide insights to enhance cost efficiency, monitor budget adherence, and
support compliance with financial policies.
● Follow up on maintenance reserves and coordinate with lessors on the claims process to ensure timely
reimbursement and compliance.
● Track and determine financial status by analyzing actual results in comparison with forecasts
● Assemble and summarize data to prepare reports on the department's financial status and risks
● Conduct business studies on past, future, and comparative performance and develop a forecast model
Traits
● Proficient in maintenance software and Microsoft Office applications.
● Strong understanding of aircraft maintenance and engineering procedures.
● Fluent in English, with excellent reading, writing, and communication skills.
● Capable of prioritizing tasks and working effectively under time constraints.
● Aviation experience in engineering-related tasks (preferred)
