Partner with key stakeholders to understand operational opportunities and manages efforts to design and implement business systems solutions and designs to achieve operational goals and efficiencies by applying knowledge of product, relevant regulations, and administrative processes.

The Senior IT System Analyst works with project teams, stakeholders, vendors, and management to identify and translate business requirements for projects and assessments into technical specifications, conceptual solutions and/or designs.

Responsible for leading the identification solution patterns aligned with systems needed to implement the solution. Interacts closely with Business Analysts, IT Architects, Technical teams, and Developers to define and guide solution from requirements to deployment.

Partner with internal and vendor resource on design and works closely with Developers during development. Provide development and configuration deliverables as required. Responsible for resilient life cycle support of systems, solutions and configuration responsibilities as assigned. This includes assessing and recommending system and solutions to ensure a viable, stable and resilient technical solution for customers.

You will

  • Understand requirements from business to support them creating conceptual functions and conceptual designs, originates both from local and regional business requirements. Participate in solution design sessions with project team by recommending solutions and options from technical perspective and ensure outcomes are met and documented.
  • Collaborate with business partners and IT project staff to establish solution understanding and expectations from both sides.  Partner with technical team and vendors on work and delivery of design and development.
  • Responsible for design, configuration and development as required.
  • Translate business requirements into technical specifications and conceptual designs that are used by Developers to construct solutions and Quality Analysts to test systems. Prepare and maintain system design documents for use with technical and business teams. Support resolution of complex configuration defects. Provide knowledge and support of end-to-end data and system integrations. Provide development, data and system configuration support to systems as assigned.
  • Partner with quality assurance teams in developing and reviewing test cases, acceptance criteria and test validation. Participate in the investigation and resolution of defects reported during testing.
  • Participate in IT capability improvements for applications and environments, including implementing logging and monitoring at appropriate levels and coordinating technical upgrades to currently support levels.

Your skills

  • Preferably degreed in Information Technology or Business Information Systems discipline. Minimum 3-5 years of experience in a similar role. Active knowledge of English (both written and spoken) at least intermediate level.
  • Knowledge or professional experience: Integration and Cloud applications. Strong analytical skills, with technical aptitude/background.
  • Good organizing and problem-solving skills, practice- and process-oriented thinking. Punctuality, accuracy, reliability, ability to work independently.
  • Confident, user-level knowledge of general office software (O365 programs) and Atlassian solutions (Jira, Confluence), ow willingness to learn them.
  • Proficiency in organizing front-end systems in docker environment (DevOPs, CI/CD pipelines) technology is an advantage.
  • Knowledge of enterprise IT systems and front-end application development coordination is an advantage. Knowledge of Oracle PL/SQL database solution is an advantage.
  • Work experience in the insurance sector is an advantage.
