We are seeking an innovative and results-oriented Subregional Head of Digital Enabler to execute Swift’s digital strategy and architect cutting-edge business solutions for Swift community across the sub-region. This is a dual-role position where approximately 50% of your time will be dedicated to managing a team of 4-5 highly skilled professionals, and the remaining 50% will focus on driving digital transformation initiatives and designing impactful solutions.

This role is critical in strengthening Swift’s presence within the financial ecosystem by delivering value-driven solutions, fostering client relationships, and ensuring the successful adoption of digital technologies.

Education

Bachelors degree or equivalent experience

Experience

Minimum 10 years of experience in a similar position in the same area

Experience in team management is a plus

Key Responsibilities

1. Digital Strategy Execution

• Lead the execution of SWIFT’s digital strategy within the subregion, ensuring alignment with global objectives and regional market needs.

• Drive adoption of SWIFT’s digital platforms, APIs, and solutions to enable seamless connectivity for Swift community members financial institutions.

• Develop tailored digital transformation roadmaps for FIsSwift users, leveraging technologies such as cloud, API, AI/ML, DLTs, and other new industry initiatives and trends.

• Stay ahead of industry trends, regulatory changes, and emerging technologies to identify new opportunities for Swift community memberFIs.

2. Business Solution Architecture

• Collaborate with financial institutions Swift users to understand business challenges and architect scalable, secure, and innovative solutions.

• Design end-to-end solutions that integrate Swift’s products and services with clients’ systems focusing on elevating the experience of Swift community members as well as their customers.

• Ensure alignment between technical capabilities and business requirements, delivering measurable value to clients.

• Create reusable solution frameworks and blueprints to accelerate deployment and time-to-market.

3. Team Leadership and Management

• Manage, mentor, and motivate a team of 4-5 professionals, fostering a collaborative and high-performing culture.

• Oversee team operations, including resource allocation, project prioritization, and performance management.

• Provide coaching and professional development opportunities to team members, ensuring skill alignment with strategic goals.

• Act as a playing manager by actively participating in solution design, strategy execution, and client interactions.

4. Stakeholder Engagement

• Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including financial institutions, regulators, and partners.

• Act as a trusted advisor to clients, guiding them on leveraging SWIFT’s solutions to achieve their business objectives.

• Represent SWIFT in industry forums and events to promote its digital agenda and thought leadership.

Competency Profile

Strong leadership and team management capabilities in a playing-manager role.

Deep understanding of the financial services industry, including cross-border payments and compliance.

Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to design innovative solutions.

Outstanding communication and relationship-building skills across diverse stakeholders.

Familiarity with SWIFT’s products and services is highly desirable.
